It took Izuku quite a while to take Ochako home. He did it on purpose because he didn't know when else he could do it. Considering what was about to happen, he probably didn't have any free time.

After what felt like a short journey, they finally arrived at the entrance of UA High School. Izuku carefully lowered Ochako from Kaisel's body, making sure she didn't fall.
