I was rummaging through some of my stuff when I heard my door opening. Without turning around, I said, "Amaira, there's a thing called knocking before entering someone's room."
"Why? You might be standing shirtless? It's nothing that I haven't seen," she said, walking towards me.
Amaira and I were physically involved a few times, no strings attached. It's a way for both of us to release frustrations, and I don't see anything wrong with it. We're not emotionally involved with each other
I felt her hands wrapping around my torso as she placed her head on my back. I chose to ignore her because she usually forgets her boundaries.
"Will you miss me?" she asked. I removed her hands and with a sigh, turned around without looking at her. I went towards the couch and sat on it. "Why would I miss you, Amaira?" I asked.
She scoffed at my words and replied, "Because you won't get amazing sex there, of course you'll miss me." I just rolled my eyes at her and started using my phone.
I opened Instagram and saw Agam's post. A smile crept onto my face when I looked at the picture. It was Aashna's picture. It's not like I am in love with her, but we certainly have a connection.
We grew up playing together. She was this stubborn little girl who used to throw tantrums. Whenever I was with her, I felt a sense of safety. I used to eagerly wait for holidays so that I could meet her, but that eventually ended as I stopped going home.
I have this fear that if I get close to someone, I'll surely break them the same way I broke myself. I'll lose them the same way I lost papa. I don't know and I can't even explain what I feel for her.
I was jolted out of my thoughts when Amaira abruptly snatched the phone from my hand and settled onto my lap.
"What the hell?" I exclaimed, taken aback.
"What? We've got time, don't we?" she countered, pressing kisses onto my neck.
Just then, the door swung open, and she halted. "What the fuck! Do you not have any manners? Can't you knock?" she snapped at Kaka
My jaw clenched as I moved her off my lap and stood up. "Apologise" I said firmly.
"Can't you hear what he said? Apologise" Amaira retorted.
"I'm speaking to you. Apologise to him, Amaira. You can't talk to him like that" I stated firmly, glaring at her.
"What? Are you serious, Abhigyan?" she said, clearly shocked.
"Yes, and now apologise or leave my house" I insisted.
"Abhi beta, jaane do" Kaka interjected, but I stopped him.
(Abhi beta, leave it)
"You know what? Go to hell" she spat, gathering her belongings and storming out of the room.
