After changing into some fresh clothes, I settled onto my bed, hoping to lose myself in my phone. But who was I kidding?

No matter how hard I try, thoughts of her wouldn't budge. Her beautiful face, the way her hair cascaded over her shoulders, the pink dress in which she looked like a dream, that infectious smile that could light up the whole room, that sweet floral fragrance that is still lingering around me and most of all those eyes- those deep, enchanting brown eyes, they seemed to have some sort of magnetism, not letting my eyes move elsewhere. For the first time in my life I felt someone's look consuming me whole

My finger automatically moved, searching for her username. There she was, looking stunning in that pretty pink dress of hers. She had already uploaded some of her birthday pictures

I swiped through each one, taking in every photo of her smiling. A strange, warm feeling stirred in my chest, and a small smile crept onto my face as I looked at her pictures

And then I accidentally opened her story

"Shit, shit, shit! What the fuck is wrong with me?" I panicked, tossing my phone aside in an attempt to forget what I had done. Now my profile would show up in her viewers list

"But why are you so afraid?" I asked myself getting back into my senses

"She's a family friend. You met her today, saw her profile tagged in one of her brother's posts, and so you followed her. SIMPLE. Ha ha ha, what's wrong with me?" I muttered to myself, trying to convince my racing heart

To avoid causing any more trouble for myself, I put my phone down on the side table and tried to go to sleep, though sleep felt like the last thing that would come easily tonight

As soon as I woke up, the first thing I did was open my Instagram to check if I had just been hallucinating. But there it was—his username in my followers list

I got out of bed, still processing everything that had happened in the last 24 hours, and went into the washroom to get ready for school. My mind was racing with a mix of excitement and confusion as I tried to piece together what just happened
