"uncle Juwoo, what's this?" asked the little girl beside Jungwoo, fixated on the makeup products spread on the vanity as he was getting his makeup done.
"it's blusher," Jungwoo replied with a smile.
"this one?" she asked, pointing to another item.
"palette for the eyes- ah eyeshadow," Jungwoo answered patiently.
"and that one?" she continued, clearly enjoying the game of asking questions.
Jungwoo was about to answer when he noticed Mark's eyes staring at her from the mirror's reflection. the little girl paused, sensing she might be distracting him, and decided to move on to Johnny instead.
"what's up, chatterbox? so chatty today, gosh," Johnny said, chuckling as he lifted her onto his lap.
"uncle Johnny, what's this?" she asked, pointing to his necklace. Johnny grinned. "this, my little lady, is my lucky necklace. it brings me good luck during performances."
she gasped. "really? appa too?"
"appa don't need it, he already have. a moving one too" Johnny replied, giving her a gentle squeeze. Mark, watching the interaction, couldn't help but smile as he scrolling his phone.
as the team continued their preparations, Daeun wandered around the room, occasionally stopping to ask questions or playfully poke at the makeup brushes. her presence lightened the mood, making everyone smile despite the long hours.
"you're quite the little explorer, huh, baby princess?" Taeyong remarked, handing her a small, unused brush to play with.
"mm! like pororo," she declared proudly, waving the brush around. the makeup artists and staff couldn't help but laugh at her enthusiasm. it's clear that Daeun had a special place in everyone's heart, and she was always a welcome distraction during the hectic schedule.
"alright baby, time to settle down a bit," Mark said gently, guiding her to a seat. her energy was fully charged today, very enthusiastic."let's just..watch the uncles got their makeup done."
"okay," she agreed, sitting down obediently. but her eyes still sparkled with curiosity as she observed the process. Johnny leaned over and whispered to her, "maybe someday you'll be a makeup artist too." she giggled, the idea clearly appealing to her, despite not knowing anything.

after they wrapped up their makeup session, it was time to start shooting their content. the studio buzzed with activity as cameras were set up, lights were adjusted, and the team finalized their plans for the day.
Daeun, ever curious, stayed close to Haechan, her eyes wide as she took in all the behind-the-scenes action. " what are we doing now?" she asked, tugging on Haechan's sleeve.
"we're going to shoot some videos," he explained, crouching down to her level. "you can watch, but you have to stay quiet, okay?" she nodded earnestly. "i'll be really really quiet."
"that's right," Haechan said, giving her a quick hug before heading over to join the others.
the director called for everyone to take their positions, and ilichil gathered in front of the camera. Daeun sat on a small chair just off to the side, her eyes glued to her appas and uncles as they prepared to film.
"alright, everyone, let's do a quick run-through," the director announced. "we'll start with the close-up introduction, then move into the skit" as the filming began, the members introduced themselves with their own charm. Daeun watched in awe, clapping her hands softly whenever they did something funny.
during a brief break, Jaehyun wandered over to Daeun with a smile. "is it fun, Daeun-ssi?" she nodded. "uncle Yuno look so cool!"
"aw thank you so much, want to help with the next segment?" he asked, winking at Mark who gave a subtle nod of approval. Daeun's eyes lit up. "what should i doo?"
Jaehyun handed her a small clapperboard. "you get to say 'action!' when everyone is ready." she took the clapperboard with wide eyes, clearly thrilled to do her first job as a small helper. when the director signaled they were ready, Jaehyun gently guided her to the front.
"alright, cutie, just like we practiced, okay?" he said, stepping back. Daeun held up the clapperboard, her tiny hands a bit shaky with excitement. "action!" she called out, her voice clear and sweet.
the room erupted in cheers and applause, and the members gave her a big round of applause. Daeun beamed with pride as she handed the clapperboard back to staff and skipped back to her seat, feeling like an important part of the team.
the filming continued smoothly, with the members performing short skits, and sharing behind-the-scenes stories. Daeun sat quietly, completely absorbed in watching ilichil at work.
as the day went on, Daeun's presence added a touch of magic to the studio. her genuine reactions and innocent curiosity reminded everyone of why they loved what they did. they finished their shoot feeling energized and happy, grateful for the little girl who had brought so much light into their lives.
finally, as the last segment wrapped up, Haechan walked over to Daeun and picked her up. "can't wait to brag to the appas later, we have a pd nim now, huh?"
Daeun was happy, knowing her presence were needed. incredibly special. she chattered excitedly about everything she had seen and done while waiting they pack up their things and prepared to leave the studio.
