"YAAY!! We sound so good just like always! Ichis little guitar part sounded so cool along with Shihos basses accompaniment, and Honami always keeps a steady tempo!" Saki cheered. It always made her happy to be able to play with the whole band again.
"Heh, thanks Saki but we couldn't have done it without your positivity and keyboard skills!" Ichika added, her cheeks flushed at the compliment.
"Yeah, thank you Saki but I still feel like there's something missing. Maybe we should run it from the top again." Shiho said.
"But Shichaaannn I'm so tireeedd!! Can we just call it a day please?" Saki groaned. To keep in mind they have been practicing for 2 hours straight on the same song.
"Saki, you signed up for this remember? Come on let's—" Shiho cut off when she saw Honami looking sick behind her drums.
"Honami? You alright??" Shiho asked.
Honami looked up when she heard her name, "Huh? Oh, uh kinda. I'm just a little tired that's all!" Honami said, "Eh I'll be fine though!" She reassured.
"No you look sick, let's call it a day." Shiho said. They then started to pack up their instruments and set away the speakers.

(Time skip, Ichika and Saki are walking home together)
"Ichi there was this really cool boba store I want us to try out! Ooh ooh and this really cute store I saw at the mall! It had..." Saki went on. As much as she rambled on and on Ichika loved that about her. Whenever she was with Saki she felt fully safe, she hadn't felt that with anyone else.
Ichika never wanted the walk to end but soon they arrived to the Tenmas household.
"Then the pompompurin plush I wanted was sold out so-"
"Saki! Were at your house!" Ichika giggled at how the girl didn't notice.
"Ah what! Already?" Saki frowned. "Hmph I wasn't finished with what I was saying! I'll just tell you later then I guess." She said. Before Ichika could say goodbye she felt Saki's arms wrap around her. She blushed when she looked down to see Saki hugging her.
"I- uh- em.. Saki!?" Ichika stuttered. Saki released her arms from Ichika and backed up smiling.
"Hehe I just wanted to give you a goodbye hug Ichi! See you tomorrow at school!" The girl entered her house.
Ichika just stood there out of shock for a second re thinking what just happened but soon picked up her feet and began walking.
"What just happened? Saki hugged me and I felt like I was going to throw up.. it felt like butterfly in my stomach? But why!? You're meant to only feel this way when your in love.. wait. Do I like Saki? What! No were just friends.. Why am I even over thinking this in the first place? Ugh, silly me it was just a friendly goodbye hug like she said." Ichika overwhelmed herself with thoughts.
Ichika soon arrived home and settled in. As soon as she plopped on her bed with her guitar in hand she got a message.

She set down her phone and began to strum some chords on her guitar.
The next thing she knew was she fell asleep with her guitar still strapped to her.

Ichika jumped out of her bed hearing the sound of the alarm. She then picked up her phone reading the time, 12 minutes until the bus would be here. The next thing she knew she was outside at the bus stop where she met Saki sitting.
"Ichi you're here! I thought you weren't going to make it heh." Saki giggled.
"Yeah, my alarms 30 minutes behind today I guess." Ichika said tiredly. The bus then pulled up to the stop and the girls boarded.
"Sleep on my shoulder." Saki said once they were seated.
"Um.. huh?" Ichika questioned her like she didn't know what she said. Saki then pulled Ichikas head to lay on her shoulder.
"There!" She said.
Ichika was stunned by what was happening and she then felt those same butterflies in her stomach. The warmth of Saki's body and the fresh vanilla perfume she wore comforted her. She then ignored her stomach that felt like it was doing back flips and shut her eyes.
"Please never let this moment end" Ichika thought.
