GROWING UP your life was pretty simple. you were born an only child and it stayed that way. you lived in a pretty good neighborhood with your mother. you never realized the problems in your life until you got older..around the age of 10. you noticed that just having a mom isn't the stereotypical family dynamic. 

you began to question your mother about where your father was. you soon found out he left a year after you were born. then came your extreme dislike towards him. you never wanted to see him. 

throughout this all, you had a best friend who stuck with you. connie springer. you met him when you were about 4 years old while he was 5. your mom and his mom, both being single mothers, became best friends. automatically making you two friends. your bond was just like brother and sister. arguing all the time, insulting each other, and fighting but no one else could do it. no one but connie could be mean to you and no one but you could be mean to connie.

as you both got older the bond only got stronger. this was because connie's mother caught an illness that made her extremely weak. while he constantly denies it, connie sought comfort in you. you were like family to him. so, he came around more often. he rode his bike to your house almost every day.

eventually, the sickness got worse. causing his mother to pass away while he was 15. this left him alone. your mother decided to adopt connie a couple of days after ms.springer's death. making the sibling bond you two had become true.

you and connie went to the same school majority of your lives. he was in the grade above you of course. this was until your mom met a man named erwin. when they officially got together your mom decided to move to his hometown. get a fresh environment. it was hard to move away from the place you loved but you had to accept it.

you moved during your sophomore year and connie's junior year. at your new high school is where you met your friend group. sasha, armin, jean, and eren. all the boys were also juniors, leaving you and sasha in the grade below.

the school you moved to was horrible. everything about it was bad. you dreaded having to stay two more years there so you decided to graduate early. sasha, not wanting to be left behind, decided to also graduate early.

you loved your friends, all of them. but there was one who stuck out to you. someone who's energy was just so intriguing...

and you weren't the only one with odd feelings. eren also found you interesting. something about you just pulled him in.

you found yourself texting him more and more everyday, eventually calling, then one day he finally asked you on a date.

and that's how it started. that's how you and eren ended up dating for almost a year. 11 months to be exact. but that all ended so quickly.
