Chapter 5 "May I Ask Why"

I watched as Song and Woo left the room leaving me with Jun standing over me.
He squatted down in front of me.

"You're coming with me back to my place. You can stay there so I can explain stuff to you."Jun explained standing up for me to follow.

We walked out of the facility. There was a black car with tinted windows that we were walking to.

I don't know why I didn't hesitate to go with him. At that moment I felt close to him even though I'd never met him.

Or you know it could have been that he was head of a mafia and I was scared to get in any more trouble.

"Here," Jun said, opening the passenger side of the car door. He looked at me, noticing I had leftover tears on my face.

He stopped and then walked closer to me. I stood there not knowing what to do. He wiped the tears off my face which surprised me. His hands were unexpectedly soft. Bigger than my face, but soft.

He paused, looking at me for a moment. I looked down trying to ignore the fact his pheromones were surrounding me. For some reason he smelt very different. He smiled, turning back to the car.

"Get in, love," He said Putting his hand on my arm and guiding me to the car.

I stopped, backing up and grabbing my arm from the bruises that were still there. Jun looked at me pulling his arms back and holding one hand in the other.

It's funny how he went from all mafia-ie to looking like a puppy who did something he wasn't supposed to.

I put my arms down, smiling, and walked to the other side of the door getting in the car. I didn't want him to think that anything was wrong and I didn't want him to know anything about my Personal life.

We drove for a while. I mostly looked out the window the whole time. Jun would look at me from time to time but he wouldn't say anything.

We entered a gate with two people in black on each side of it. It was a long driveway, and stairs going up to a huge house.

Jun got out of the car and walked around. He opened the door, stepping out of the way for me to get out.

I followed him walking up the stairs and entering two big doors that people on each side opened.

"I want to introduce you to some people if they are here. Then I will take you upstairs and talk." He had said to me.

We walked through a long hallway into a room. There were two people sitting on the couch in the den.

I could tell one of them was an alpha because the second we walked into the room his pheromones hit me.

I didn't know how I was supposed to get through all of it at that time. I wasn't that scared because I can fight... if their pheromones don't phase me.

"That is Jun-Su. My brother. And that is Dae-hyuk. My Second hand man. He is also dating my brother," Jun explained as we got closer but not enough for them to hear.

"I'm Sung-hee. Nice to meet you." I bowed. I didn't know if I should have said that but I didn't know what else to say.

They stood up and bowed.

"Nice to meet you too! I'm Jun-Su and this is Dae-hyuk." Jun-Su said while standing beside the younger. He started stepping away and coming closer to me.

I looked up at Jun. He was staring straight at Jun-su. Jun-su walked closer, putting his hand on my shoulder.

I flinched but not enough for anyone to notice, I thought.

Jun moved Su's hand, not breaking eye contact.

"Come on Sung-hee, let's go."

Su looked at me, then Jun, then back at me. My head was pounding from Jun's Pheromones on top of Su's.

Jun Finally looked down at me holding his hand out for me to go out of the room.

Su turned around walking back to Dae, who I guess he forgot was there. But he didn't.

"What the hell was that? I'm literally standing right here and even if you could have him it looks like he is already Jun's."
I could hear Dae-hyuk in the room we left.

"It's not like you'll let me mark you, and Jun doesn't like human blood. Plus he doesn't sleep with guys. Everyone knows that."

I sped walked to catch up with Jun, who was already at the bottom of the stairs waiting for me.

"Never and I mean ever talk to my brother without me. I may be the vampire and the leader but you don't know what he can do. Do you understand me?" Jun said when I finally got down the stairs to where he was.

"Okay." Jun started walking up the stairs.
I was confused. Vampire? I heard stories that enigmas were vampires but I just took them as jokes.

"Wait. May I ask why?" I played with my sleeves, totally ignoring the whole vampire thing. I heard Jun sigh and then stop walking up the stairs.

"I will explain everything if you stop asking questions. Asking a lot of questions around here isn't a way to play it safe," Jun turned to look at me, grabbing my hand pulling me the rest of the way upstairs.
