Liam laughed louder, mockingly as he said in his usual arrogant tone,
"You're pathetic! I can see it in your eyes,you've given up."
Still no response from Ruby she just stared at him.
A smirk creeped up onto his lips at her silence, and he continued to make fun of her as he said,
"You might as well just let go, I mean, you're doing yourself a favour, and everyone else. you don't even want to be a hero, so just let go."
She realised he was right,she didn't want to be a hero anyway. It was her dad who wanted that for her. Maybe it was best she let's go, I mean, what does she have to live for?
