[Indistinct chatter. The door opens. Everyone gets up when the King is seated everyone sits down.]

Viserys: How good it is...to see you all tonight...together.

"No not really, I'm not there. Did everyone forget about me," said Daeron throwing his hands in the air.

"No," said Alicent not looking at her son.

"Everyone besides Lucerys," said Daeron.

Everyone looked at Daeron in question specially Daemon.

Alicent: Prayer before we begin?

Viserys: Yes.

Alicent: May the Mother smile down on this gathering with love. May the Smith mend the bonds that have been broken for far too long. And to Vaemond Velaryon, may the gods give him rest.

Viserys: This is an occasion for celebration, it seems. My grandson, Jace, will marry his cousin, Baela, further strengthening the bond between our houses. A toast to the young Prince... and his betrothed.

Daemon: Hear, hear!

Aegon: Well done, Jace. You'll finally get to lie with a woman.

Viserys: Let us toast as well Princess Lucerys... the future Lady of the Tides.

Daeron smiled that Lucerys would have been the lady of the Tides knowing if she was still here he would be lord consort of the tides he would give her as many kids as she wanted he would love to be her stay at home husband but now that would never happened.

Baela: Hear, hear.

Rhena: You'll be great.

Aegon: You do know how the act is done, I assume? At least in principle? Where to put your cock and all that.

"Fucking idiot," said Aemond.

"We all know you love me brother," said Aegon smirking at his little brother only for Aemond to glare at him.

Baela: Let it be, cousin.

Jacaerys: You can play the jester if you wish, but hold your tongue before my betrothed.

Aegon:- Mm-hm.

[Viserys stands up but struggles a-little. Viserys breathing heavily.]

Viserys: It both gladdens my heart and fills me with sorrow to see these faces around the table. The faces most dear to me in all the world... yet grown so distant from each other...in the years past.

[Viserys takes off his mask and puts it on the table.]

Viserys: My own face...is no longer a handsome one...if indeed it ever was.But tonight...I wish you to see me...as I am. Not just a king...but your father. Your brother. Your husband...and your grandsire. Who may not, it seems...walk for much longer among you.

[Viserys breathing heavily as the mask clanks against the table.]

Viserys: Let us no longer hold ill feelings in our hearts. The crown cannot stand strong if the House of the Dragon remains divided. But set aside your grievances. If not for the sake of the crown...then for the sake of this old man who loves you all so dearly.

[Viserys breathing heavily. Picks up the mask as the mask clanking on the table.]

Rhaenyra: I wish to raise my cup to Her Grace, the Queen. I love my father. But I must admit that no one has stood...more loyally by his side than his good wife. She has tended to him with...unfailing devotion, love, and honor. And for that, she has my gratitude...and my apology.
