The Collapse happened quickly. By the time it was complete the undead outnumbered the living. The remainder were now living in a world where survival wouldn't be guaranteed. From now on day to day living would be movement and concealment, defending against the onslaught of the undead, and trying to not become one of them.
There would be only one law, the law of the jungle. The world was now a wasteland where some would take what they wanted by force, but everyone would have to face the undead.
The survivors would need to band together if they wanted to have any chance of making it through the day and not become the undead themselves.
