Chapter 5

I was lying in bed, Damon's arms firmly wrapped around me. It felt oh so nice, so amazing to have a person like him in my life, and him being my boyfriend only made that better. All of a sudden my phone rang and I quickly got out of the grasp pf my boyfriend, and picked up. It was Connor Scutt, whom I had given my number because of Joshie in case something bad would happen. I put it on speaker,it not bothering me if Damon would hear all of it. "Dimi, you need to find Josh!" he said sounding like he was trying to catch his breath since. "What happened?" I asked feeling a bit worried. "They're after him, they're gonna lock him up!" Connor said still completely out of breath. "We'll hide him." I said, hanging up right afterwards knowing that this was urgent, and I have a plan. "Damon, we need to hide Josh." I said. "I heard it." he replied. We hurried out of the hotel room and over towards Josh' and Connor's. We knocked on the door and Josh opened. "What do you want." he asked looking really down and depressed. "Josh, they're coming to get you." I said quickly while looking really worried. He knew what I meant right away and let us in. "What do I do?" he asked looking like he was going to cry. "I have a plan." I said. I quickly went on to explain it and they both nodded. Josh layed down on the bed and I did right next to him. Damon pulled the covers over our bodies, actually Josh got completely covered. Damo got on top of us both, but mostly me. The door got flung open and the guards came in. Damon started kissing me and the guards saw it. "We're so sorry, wrong room." one of them said. Damon stopped and looked at them with a disgusted look on his face. "Get out, seriously there's no privacy these days." Damon said. The guards got out quickly and closed the door behind them. We removed the blanket and we all felt relieved. After a few minuted it knocked on the door and I went over to see a worried looking Connor Scutt. He came in and hugged Josh tightly. "I'm so so sorry, it's my fault." Connor said continuing to hug Josh. I saw a happy smile spread on Josh' face. "It's okay." Josh said sounding genuinley happy for once. They pulled away and Josh looked like he wanted to say something. "Connor... you changed me." he said. "What do you mean?" Connor asked. My eyes widened and a big smile formed on my face. "I don't want to die anymore." Josh said sounding shocked himself. "Oh just kiss already." Damo said smiling brightly. No hesitation Connor pulled Josh in and kissed him on the lips. Josh blushed as they pulled away. That moment was good until Connor suddenly looked panicked. "What happened?" I asked. He hurried out of the hotel room and everyone followed. He ran and we all followed close behind. He finally stopped and we stood next to him. I was trying to find out what was happening when I saw what was happening right before our eyes. Connor covered his eyes at the sight of it. "What happened?" Damon asked sounding worried. "I ran into Vladimir Andersen earlier, he helped me get back to you guys..." Connor said quietly as we looked at Vlad getting beaten up. The blood was pooling out on the ground, most of it was from his face. Especially his nose. Just then the cops came and the guys ran away. Some of the police went after them while some stayed. We ran towards Vlad quickly, he was on the verge of passing out, if not dying. After a few minutes an ambulance arrived as well. "I'll go with him to the hospital, you guys know more about what happened." Damon said. I nodded and we went to the police station to explain what happened. After an hour Damon texted me that Vlad would be fine, but he almost died. I showed the text to the two others and they were both relieved. Even if he's not a close friend, Vlad did help in saving Josh, and we all appreciate that very much. He sacrficed his own life for Josh, thank you Vlad.
