Next day, Riya made cupcakes and packed some for Abhimanyu.

" Hmm. Is my daughter interested in cooking or someone made her interested?" Reema teased.

" I just wanted to try the recipe." Riya smiled.

" I am getting late. Meet you in evening. Bye." She said and kissed Reema's cheek.

Riya reached college and secretly placed the cupcake box inside his desk not knowing Abhimanyu already saw it and she placed it in wrong desk. Before anyone could notice he took the box and sat on his seat. Jagruti saw all this. She felt jealous since he always reject girls but he accepted her tiffin box just like other time he accepted her cookies.

Jagruti had his favourite pineapple cake. She thought she will confess today. After lectures ended Abhimanyu was sitting in cafeteria with his friends. He opened the box and saw cupcakes. He smiled. He took a bite and it's sweetness spread in his mouth. Jagruti came in front of him and placed the cake in front of him.

" Abhimanyu I made this for you. Have a taste." Jagruti smiled excitedly.

" Take it away. I don't need it. I don't accept unnecessary gifts." He coldly rejected.

" Please have a taste this is more tasty than this rotten and full of calories cupcake." She said and accidentally made the box fall on ground.

This made him clench his jaw. He threw the cake on ground. This made people gather around them. Riya too came to cafeteria hearing the chaos. She saw her cupcake on ground.

" I don't eat stupid sweets. I don't want your unnecessary gift. Keep it to yourself." Abhimanyu gritted pointing at her.

" But- But Abhimanyu I love you. Please. Give it a thought." Tears collected in Jagruti's eyes at his harsh words.

" I hate clingy girls like you. Don't dirty me. You love me that has nothing to do with me. Stop annoying me. You are that type of girl who shows jealousy on other girls even though the boy doesn't even look at you saying he is mine then bullying innocent ones." Abhimanyu said leaving the cafeteria.

Jagruti felt humiliated. But more than this his words hurt her most. Meanwhile Riya kept staring at the cupcake she made by waking up early being unappreciated and wasted on ground. She left from there hurt that he didn't eat it but threw it. Ishita saw her sad face and asked her the reason.

" Why are you making balloon-like face?" Ishita said cupping her face.

" He threw the cupcake I made. He said he don't like clingy girls." Riya pouted.

" Did he said that to you? Let me teach him a lesson." Trisha said rolling her invisible sleeves.

" No he didn't. Her rejected a girl and said that he hate those who are clingy. He must be hating me too right?" Riya said sadly.

" Oh so this is the reason." Akansha nodded.

" I don't think so. But can be. You have to pursue him another way then. He said he didn't like clingy girls but he didn't said he hates flirting or pursuing him." Natasha said cheering Riya.

" Do I stand a chance? I don't want to give up on him. I don't even know if he likes me or not." Riya pouted sadly.

" Then let's first find out if your absence affects him. You have been flirting to him since a week so let's ignore him, now. If it affects him he will try to talk to you and if it doesn't then we will try something else." Anaya gave the idea.

" Will that work?" Riya smiled at her suggestion.

" Yes if he takes you for granted then there is no use degrading yourself. So let's see if he hates you. If he doesn't then we will think of a way to pursue him." Anaya said and Riya hugged her happily.
