It was the day of laxmipoojan( first day of Diwali). The whole house was decorated full of lights and flower. Riya woke up with her Aunt Harshita cooing her to wake up. Riya smiled and hugged her earning a chuckle.
" Wake up." Harshita again called.
" Wakeee up." Akshita sang jumping on her bed making her giggle.
" Mera pookie." Riya kissed her cheek. (My pookie.)
" Yuck.. No brushing teeth." Akshita said teasing her earning a flick on her forehead.
They left and Riya stood up to freshen up but her phone rang drawing her attention. She smiled at the caller id.
" Happy laxmipoojan, firefly." He wished and she smiled.
" Same to you, Abhi." She wished back.
" What are you doing? Did I disturbed you?" He asked.
" No, you didn't. I am going to take a shower." Riya said holding back her yawn.
" Alone." He teased as Priyansh suggested.
" Bathroom mein chudelein naach rahi hongi already. Kam hai toh 100 bheson ko saath le jaati hu." Riya rolled her eyes while he chuckled. ( Ghost must be already dancing in the bathroom if it seems less to you then I will take 100 buffaloes with me.)
" Damn, sarcasm." He giggled.
" Not my fault. You fell for a sassy girl." Riya said proudly.
" Hot and sexy too." He husked while she giggled.
" I will talk to you later." Riya exclaimed.
" Fine, firefly. Do send me the pic when you adorn yourself beautifully." He said and she hummed cutting the call.
She freshened up and wore the pink dress given by Rishabh twirling while looking in the mirror. She clicked a picture of herself and sent it to her mother, Rishabh, Ishita and Abhimanyu then kept her phone aside to go downstairs.
