Chapter 12 - Back in the Victorian times

"So we going to Arah?" Maddie asked as she leaned onto the console.

The Doctor nodded. "Yes, i need to ask her something about Clara."

"Like you asked Emma." Maddie pointed it out.

"Yes, but she wasn't family. Arah is." The Doctor replied to her.

Maddie frowned. "Then why didn't we come directly to her?"

"I needed to ask her first." The Doctor replied.

Maddie nodded. "I understand." Then she changed the subject. "Then we need a change of clothes."

"Yes, we do." The Doctor comment happily as he pulled over a lever and set the Tardis into motion.

After changed into victorian clothes, they went outside of the Tardis and went to Arah's house. When they arrived there, Arah had already opened the door and stood in the frame. "I sensed you arrival." Arah told them.

"Yeah, we need to ask you something." Maddie comment.

Arah looked at them. "It's about Clara, isn't it?"

"Yes, it is." The Doctor replied.

Arah opened the door further. "Come in." They walked into the house as then Arah let to the living room and they all sat down. "So, what do you want to know about Clara?"

"Who and what is she?" The Doctor immediately asked.

Arah looked at them. "Clara is human, she isn't what I am. A witch."

"But she pops up everywhere." The Doctor exclaimed.

Arah nodded. "Yes, that's because something happens in the future."

"What will happen?" Maddie asked confused.

Arah sighed heavily. "I can't tell you, it has to be lived."

"River said that ones." Maddie comment sadly.

"She did." The Doctor added. Then he looked at Arah. "Can't you tell us a hint?"

Arah shook with her head. "No, I'm sorry."

The Doctor looked at her. "But to confirm, Clara is human? Nothing else?"

"Clara is human." Arah replied to him.

The Doctor nodded. "Thank you."

"Your welcome." Arah told him.

Sometime later, they were drinking thee and they were discussing about a monster that was in London. "So, what monster is here?" Maddie asked, frowning. "I mean, why tell us now?"

Arah sighed. "It's something that doesn't come up easily if I'm the only one that see it move."

"What is it?" The Doctor asked, he had an idea of what it was.

"It looks like a woman with her hands on her face." Arah replied to him.

Then the Doctor and Maddie looked at each other, before they looked back at her. "It's a Weeping Angel."

Arah looked at them. "You two lost friends to it."

They nodded as then Maddie told her. "Do you remember Amy and Rory?" Arah nodded. "We lost them to the Weeping Angels."

"That's horrible." Arah told them. "They were lovely people."

"They were." Maddie told her seriously.
