...and sing me a lullaby
just take my heart,
and break it-
can you come around tonight?
i might be the enemy...
but nothing quite hits like you

"if you fall, i'll catch you. you'll be safe here."
i love you.

in which ; you...
(Sorry about the sudden hiatus, I was away focusing on school. Thank you so much for the support this far ^^)
You seem a little down today. Or not, I can't quite tell, and I don't exactly know what you're dealing with currently. I'm sorry.
But I just wanted to let you know that no matter what everyone tells you, it's okay to not be okay. You don't have to be strong all the time, there's really nothing wrong with letting your guard down. It's only human to feel, isn't it?
You aren't selfish for feeling whatever you feel. Sad, angry, envious, anxious, anything... there's no right and there's no wrong. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
You shouldn't feel ashamed for feeling bad. You're not weak; you're human. It's normal and there's nothing wrong with feeling overwhelmed, so don't ever bash yourself for being human, okay? You're not weird, strange or selfish for experiencing something as normal as emotions, and nothing can ever change that. And if others can't accept your anger or your sadness, it's not your fault, is it?
Take care of yourself. I love you.

The way time works up here is strange. There's no day and night cycle, so everyday looks just like everyday. It's like it's a separate dimension from the normal human world but it's not.
When someone is in this place and they somehow get the privilege of looking down and into the human world, time will look frozen down there and time only passes up here, implying if someone here somehow got revived and returned to their normal lives down there, it'd be as if no time has ever passed. This is basically a "the world revolves around you" phenomenon.
This also means that if that someone leaves this place and somehow gets the privilege of looking up here wherever this is, time will also appear frozen. It's difficult to explain, your friend said.
Well, it is. You can't bother to understand this science-y meteorology mumbo-jumbo.
You sigh while reminiscing before finishing your train of thoughts and picking off another white rose to place in your already gigantic bouquet of white roses. You do so in the company of the small orb nestled in a woven basket beside you.
"I hope you're having fun. Just tell me when you're getting bored of this and we can think of something else, okay?"
There it goes, again...
You smile in response and give a reassuring nod, feeling immense comfort from its words alone. It was clear that all it wanted was for you to feel well.
You exhale and take a seat on the clouds to gaze up at the sky. Not really doing anything, just reminiscing for a moment. As you stare off into the endless concoction of grey and pale blue, your spherical companion slowly approaches.
"Are there any natural phenomena you ever wanted to see before you died?"
What? Natural phenomena?
"You know, light pillars, auroras, moon bows... did you ever want to see any of those?"
