Returning from his morning walk, Sikandar noticed Bibi unusually happy. He entered their home and gently kissed her forehead. "Bibi, are you going somewhere?" he asked, noticing her adorned in her favorite gold jewelry.
"Yes, but not alone. You're coming with me, Bibi replied cheerfully. mentioning they were visiting her family and her nephew was coming to pick them Sikandar's heart sank as he realized she meant they were visiting her family, a prospect that always stirred complex emotions within him.
"How can you forgive those people?" Sikandar blurted out, unable to contain his frustration. "They are the ones who didn't let you in when you were crying at there doo to open up for you ."
Bibi's expression clouded with sadness. "Sikandar, they are my family," she responded softly, her tone tinged with hurt.
Sikandar raised his voice slightly, "Bibi, I was young then, but I understand now. I know what they did."and I will not stand by you in your this decision
Bibi sighed, her eyes filled with disappointment. "That's why I don't expect you to stand by me in this," she said quietly, her words carrying the weight of years of unresolved conflict.
Sikandar's heart ached as he spoke, "Bibi, please, why don't you understand? They are not your family. If they were, where were they all these years when you were suffering alone?"
Bibi looked at Sikandar with a mixture of sadness and defiance. "Sikandar, I know you don't understand, but they are still my blood," she said firmly, her voice tinged with sorrow. She paused, taking a deep breath before continuing, "And Sikandar, how can I punish the younger generations for the mistakes their elders made due to old customs and rivalries?"Sikandar's eyes reddened, a mixture of hurt but mostly anger. "Bibi, they were not that young. They were fathers of children. How can you say they were too young to understand your situation?"
Bibi's gaze hardened. "And were you too old to understand what was going on at that time? I left my father and my house. Do you think it was fair to him and our family, especially when we are one of the most respected families? Sikandar, you were younger then, and you still are thinking from the point of view of that thirteen-year-old boy who saw very little of the real story."
Her words hung in the air, heavy with the weight of past sorrows and unresolved conflicts. Sikandar clenched his fists, his voice trembling with emotion. "Bibi, you need to stop blaming yourself. After all you went through, you tried your best to make it work your father's way, but it didn't happen. And I don't understand why you should suffer. More than that, it boils my blood, hurts my soul. Why should you lower yourself to all those people and forgive them, all who made your life miserable, causing you pain to this day?"
Sikandar's face contorted with frustration.
"Bibi : you might be a successful person today, but you are not so grown up that you can call my father" your father". He has a name that must be called to him by al . Agha Jaan for you, me, and everyone. In your hate and bitterness, don't forget your respect towards elders.i haven't taught you that.
And about forgiveness: my child, in the Quran, Surah Al-Imran (3:134) teaches us: 'Those who spend [in the cause of Allah] during ease and hardship, and who restrain anger, and who pardon the people - indeed, Allah loves the doers of good.' What good am I if I pray five times a day and read the Quran daily, but do not truly believe in its teachings or follow them in my actions? Forgiveness heals, my child; letting go of bitterness and worries is liberating. Once you release yourself from the attachments of this world and family, peace follows."
