(A/N: Welcome to the last chapter of this fic. Chapter title was an excerpt from the lyrics of, "Fresh Out the Slammer" which is a track from the recent album of Taylor Swift. Finally, we've reached the end. I'd like to thank my fellow readers who patiently waited for every update of this story and sharing their warm reviews and feedback. It inspires us writers to know that our stories can elicit strong emotional responses and brighten up their day. Hopefully, you'll enjoy this last chapter as much as I did when I wrote it. Lastly, I do not own anything from this franchise. This wonderful manga and song are owned by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura and Taylor Swift).

The cheerful chirping of the birds from the branches of the trees at the street can be heard a few meters away from the pavements on one crisp, morning at the city.

One of his hands had gripped his jacket closer to his frame as the cold draft of chilly air kissed his skin as he walked back to his car parked at the side of the street.

Upon reaching the vehicle, he opened the door and got inside the driver's seat.

On the other side of the driver's seat, Sofia was sitting calmly and looked straight ahead.

"Did you get what you're looking for?" asked without looking at him.

"Yeah." Kaiser replied simply as he took out the car keys from his pocket and was about to start the engine when he paused upon hearing her next words.

"Guess it must be a pain for you huh? I'm just imagining your face every time you see them both together in the tabloids or in society magazines." Sofia remarked.

"I don't know what you're talking about." He stated plainly.

His words made her let out a humorless chuckle. "You really are a stubborn bastard through and through. Oh, well. Since we're getting married in less than a few weeks, both of our appearances are required most of the time to avoid negative speculations from the media."

"I know about that. No need to remind me." Kaiser replied stiffly.

"That's good to hear." She replied pleasantly as she faced him with a small smile on her face.

"At least we both know where we stand with each other. Use me all you want, and I'll do the same. We're both benefitting from this of a relationship anyway. Just don't fall for me. Or you'll have another heartbreak soon." Sofia added with a mirthless chuckle escaping her lips.

"Don't be so damn sure of yourself woman. As if that'd happen." Kaiser scoffed before he turned the engine on and let the car sped away from the city.

Sofia hummed softly under her breath as she looked at the scenery outside of the car's window, her eyes were serenely downcast as she let her gaze fell on the gray skies and colorless skyscrapers that the vehicle passed them by and waiting for a good feeling to come.

Now, pretty baby, I'm running back home to you
Fresh out the slammer, I know who my first call will be to
(Fresh out the slammer, oh)

Another summer taking cover, rolling thunder
He don't understand me
Splintered back in winter, silent dinners, bitter
He was with her in dreams

One week had passed.

A week had passed since their last confrontation with one another, and it seemed like they were almost strangers who were just living on one roof.

Sleepless nights and silent tears had made their way into his pillows until he could fall asleep in the middle of his quiet agony and crying.

It's as if Ness can't breathe every time, he wakes up to find out that Isagi wasn't beside him on the bed every night and day. He would later find out from his manager that Isagi's schedule was hectic due to the sports event that he needed to attend because of his sponsors and advertisements that he's promoting into.
