If only I had been at home with a glass of hot chocolate and some romantic book in my hand I would have really enjoyed this heavy downpour. But I was nowhere, even near my locality, standing here at the hospital's entrance waiting for this thundering storm to halt.

After a hectic week at the hospital I finally got some time for me and my body was screaming to get a good sleep and to get into the warmth of my bed. At least there were some good things that happened in the last week, like my first surgery and Jungkook attending to watch me. Just like he promised he was there for me and stayed for the whole time until Kabir offered me to wrap the surgery on my own. I was thrilled and also because he was with me.

I hadn't seen him for the last four days, he did a lot of surgeries this week and lined up post surgery check-ups. But this was the thing that we thrive for, the only thing that keeps us alive in a way no other thing can do.

P.S:- We doctors are a bit complicated.

To my very own bad luck, my car had to break today only and no way in my life would I have come to the hospital in my mom's vintage car. The universe knows it well.

But now I kinda wanted that car to be here to get me out of this rambling thunder. I had to take the last bus and I was already getting late, fuck it!

Taking my bag in my hands, I roofed it on my head and started running towards the bus stop that was just one block away. I could do it, it was not going to take much. People do get soaked sometimes when they have to catch this last bus. It was normal…yeah completely normal. Shut up y/n!

I started regretting stepping my foot outside the hospital. By the time I took a few steps I was completely soaked and I couldn't just go back like this. A roaring thunder echoed and I nearly tripped because I flinched so badly. I couldn't properly see the roads, the raindrops were hooding my eyelashes. God I shouldn't have done this.

The bus stand was still a few metres away and now it was getting really hard to run against this rain. I flinched again and almost jumped down from the paved walkway along the side of the street.

This time it was not due to the thunder but a loud honk of a black Mercedes Benz pulled over to my right. I knew this car and who owned this as well. Looking at that shiny luxury car, I could feel myself heating up when those raindrops were shedding on me.

"Y/n, get into the car," Jungkook called after rolling down the glass window and bending his neck to have a look at me. And just when I thought nothing more worse could happen this week, the man that I find hard to resist had just seen me in this horrible state.

I mentally cursed myself for ditching my waterproof mascara and applying the usual one. Right at that moment I promised myself to never look down on my waterproof mascara again. And also to this usual one that I was wearing in my eyelashes right now. Please don't smudge.
