She gasped a bit and sat on her bed, clutching her chest tightly and rubbing in circles so as to ease the pain, she looked around her to see the familiar lights, it was scary but comforting

She softly traced her fingers over the light, mesmerized by it, a scent filling her nostrils, scent of mints and flowers, a tint of cinnamon, inhaling it she closed her eyes, feeling peace as she lay down once again falling into a deep slumber, the lights a silent promise of comfort

Meanwhile

Jungkook got up panting heavily, "mate?" He asked desperately as he looked at the lights surrounding him, he breathed shakily touching them as a scent filled his nostrils, the scent of roses, lavender and strawberry, with a tint of vanilla, the combination so strong yet comforting, he yearned for it, the lights calming him down

The iris of his eyes flickering between brown and purple, multiple things left as a mystery he wanted nothing more than to find out.

He lay down once again, closing his eyes and drifting to sleep, a serenity filled in him as soft snores echoed in the night.

The next morning,

She woke up as the sun rays hit her face showcasing her skin which shone like diamonds, she sighed softly getting up from her bed

Going into to the bathroom, she soaked in the warm water closing her eyes and let the peace envelop her

Her muscles tensed up feeling another presence, but they relaxed feeling the soft touch "mom", she whispered softly with a smile as her mother returned the smile

"how's my love doing?", she chuckled softly "we all know your love is dad" her mother let out a soft chuckle while cleansing her skin as hari let out a satisfied sigh

"Mom, did dad tell you about the merge?" Her mother sighed keeping her feet in the warm water which calmed her

"i did hear about it, that's going to be difficult love" she looked at her mother with teary eyes "they are not bad mom, you know that, it was forbidden to be close but that was broken and we got to know there's more than enmity, a sense of comfort, a feeling of love, a secure embrace"

She continued while looking down "we need to be grateful, this is the least we can do for them and for us for her"

Her mother held her daughter's face softly in her palm caressing her cheek with the tip of her thumb, she softly planted a kiss on the top of her head before smiling at her "it's okay, you are strong enough to protect everyone", hari let out a small smile before hugging her mother

She got out from the pool, wearing her clothes, a v neck white shirt and black pants which held few daggers tied to it as red long coat covered her petite yet strong figure, her delicate collarbone and neck seen as she tied her hair into a ponytail , taking soft strides, she went along to the dining table clutching her mother's palm who gently grazed her palm once in a while

Entering the dining hall, the aura changed at once in the blink of an eye, every person turned their head towards her, their eyes caught in her sight, their head instantly bowed as a sign of respect towards her, with a slight nod, she gestured for them to continue the breakfast as they did.

She sat next to the king and queen, there was a comfortable silence as she broke it "good morning everyone" everyone greet her with smiles as she stared at a certain figure, her excitement increasing

"good morning brother, it's been a while since we had met" she spoke as he took her in a embrace, softly playing with the locks of her hair "I missed you sister, how have you been doing my princess?" He spoke as she smiled at the prince, though he was the elder one, she was the leader of them all, it was all written in their prophecy and fate, but above all, he has agreed that she was the more deserving one.

And he had a kingdom of his own to be taken care of, a kingdom he had inherited from the queen, their mother, he was prince min yoongi.

"I am doing fine" she spoke as they continued to have a conversation

Meanwhile

He woke up groaning a bit as he sat up on his bed, running his veiny hands through the locks of his hair, taking in a deep breath, he recalled yesterday's events, a slight smile with a hope in his heart, his mate really might exist somewhere, he just had to wait patiently

Taking off the duvet from his body, he got up, taking a fresh bath in the pool as his tensed muscles relaxed immediately, a soft sigh escaped his lips, his closed eyes squeezed right and relaxed

His image wandered to the scent he started getting intoxicated to, he wondered about the person it belonged to, could it be his mate? Shrugging off his thoughts, he wrapped a towel around his waist, drying his wet hair with a towel and walked out  "I need to think about my people, they need me first" he thought while wearing his clothes, a tight white shirt which hung to his figure perfectly, his muscles flexing through the fabric as he wore some black pants and a royal blue coat

He left for downstairs for breakfast as his pack members greeted him, with a gentle smile he greet them back and settled next to his father "good morning brother" spoke the elder Prince, Kim seokjin, who took his mother's surname and ruled her pack while jungkook had to be the alpha king

Jungkook hugged his brother with a soft smile "how have you been?" He asked as he nodded indicating his wellness and soon a conversation went on between them.

Back to hari

"a little sparring would do us good, sister" he spoke with a soft smile as she nodded, he held her palm in his taking her to the sparring area as she let out a small laugh while he guided her the way

The sun rays hit her face as she came out in the open looking at her surroundings, she gazed at the pile of swords decorated on the walls as she softly grazed her fingers over them "I missed sparring with you brother" she spoke with a little smile as he replied "I missed spending time with my little sister"

He gave her a pat on the shoulder and looked through the weapons when suddenly a pair of strong arms wrapped around her waist from back and at once she was lifted from the ground and spun around, the person's nose nuzzling in her hair as she giggled, once the person put her down she immediately turned around and hugged the person tight, who hugged her back at once, engulfing her in his embrace

"tae" she shouted in excitement nuzzling their noses together as he burst out giggling , he cupped one side of her cheek and attached their foreheads "I missed you so much, my strawberry" he spoke as she giggled "you finally had time for me huh" she spoke in a strict tone as he smiled "I came with yoongi hyung, you know how it's like right?" She nodded in a understanding manner

Afterall he was the ruler of a kingdom himself, the third most powerful vampire kingdom.

He softly kissed her forehead, their Ruby bracelets shining bright as he interlocked their fingers, he was a mateless vampire but he truly believed hari was his mate, for they shared a very sacred and special bond which was beyond anyone's understanding, they themselves didn't know about it, but for sure they truly trusted each other more than themselves.

And at times, she felt what if he really was her mate, the love they shared towards each other, they didnt know if it was in a romantic sense or not but it surely was a good type of love, one would want to hold and cherish, a sacred friendship.

Both of them stayed in each other's embrace with their eyes closed and a sweet smile on their lips as yoongi smack both of their heads "did you forget your elder's presence?" He said with sarcasm lacing his tone as she smiled hugging him making him groan a bit "did you like my surprise princess?" He said indicating taehyung's presence as she smiled "i love it"

Meanwhile

Sweat dripping off his chin as his eyes stayed attentive, gripping the sword right in his hold, he plunged towards the other figure, their swords clashing as he saw his reflection in the sword, his eyes fiery, his jaw clenched, his messy hair covering some part of his eyes, it was jungkook.

The other person pushed his sword as they had a little struggle for dominance before Jungkook finally slashed the coat of another person "hey that's my favourite coat you brat" he spoke looking at jungkook who grinned playfully while extending his hand "not my fault Jimin"

Jimin rolled his eyes getting up with the support of jungkook, he pat his shoulder "you keep getting better" jimin spoke with a tint of adoration

Jungkook took two bottles of water, handing over one to Jimin and drinking the other in one go, "let's start again" he spoke as Jimin just shook his head in disbelief but nodded as they started to position themselves.

Meanwhile

In the shadows of the cave, he stared at the water and the blue light it emitted, a hood covering half of his face, his lips trembled in anger and for thirst, not for water but blood

He could feel himself getting weaker and he needed heart of vampires or warewolves to go on

He sat down on a rock, his serene eyes looking at the light "if only I managed to win that day, if only she didn't come in between, i could've had all the power in my hands"

The cave shook under his rage and his hood fell off revealing his pitch black eyes that held countless rage before they returned back to normal "i am coming to get you and no one's going to stop me now"
