He softly looked at her with a slight smile on his lips, It seemed that she has gotten close with his family

He sighed while she looked at him, she really wanted to him to accept her, but a fear lingered in her heart, what if he will reject her when she reveals everything?

Taehyung held her palm softly "is everything okay?" He whispered as she nodded with a smile, jungkook poked his cheek not liking their interaction, because as a man he could sense the love taehyung had for her.

He kept silent because he understood she had a deep connection with him, he couldn't just go and tell her to avoid him, that's unfair for both her and her friend

He sighed closing his eyes and then opened them to see her staring at him, he raised an eyebrow but she looked down at her plate as they continued eating

Taehyung leaned closer and kept his head on her shoulder as jungkook took a deep breath "how long can he control himself?" He thought as he stared at them but she stared back at him, both holding an intense contact, their orbs slightly shining violet, both of them were lost in their own thoughts, in their own world as everything around them disappeared, different emotions swirling in their eyes

She looked away, her orbs turning red as she mindlinked "yes mingyu?hmm okay I am coming in a few minutes", she sighed before mindlinking with her father "mingyu has called me to inform about a trivial matter dad" her father just nodded while Jungkook watched her with an amazed expression, her red orbs were really attractive and screamed danger, her expression which held a dominant aura, he just looked at her with a little hum

"I'll be leaving then, tae can you take crown prince jungkook to his room?" Taehyung just nodded as she stood from her seat bowing a little,she pecked both her father's and brother's cheek with a soft smile and left from there.

taehyung looked at jungkook just to find him staring as he smiled awkwardly, "let's go crown prince Jungkook?" He spoke as jungkook nodded with a slight smile

"I think I can manage, please don't worry about me prince taehyung", taehyung hesitated but nodded with a slight smile when Jimin ensured that It was okay with a gentle squeeze on taehyung's palm, he relaxed a bit as they ate in silence, occasionally engaged in a conversation

Jungkook excused himself as he got up sliding the chair backwards, bowing a little, he walked out of the room with steady steps, his confidence faded a bit when he realised he has lost his way.

Meanwhile

She entered her work chamber with steady steps, her face expression stern yet tense, her jaw clenching when she entered inside to see mingyu pacing here and there in worry but stopped in his place upon noticing her presence, he immediately bowed "it's okay just tell me what is the matter mingyu?" She asked because she knew he wouldn't call her like this when it's not important

He took a deep breath closing his eyes before he opened them, his breath shaky "there's been an attack, not just a person, but the entire family has been killed and it's surely done by that creature" he spoke, her expression turning different and darker, her face contorted with anger, fangs coming out as she spoke "Where?", it was dangerously deep and calm, that's when he knew she was at the verge of losing it

"please calm down, princess" he spoke being afraid of her scary aura that emanated from her, she turned her back to him, throwing things here and there.

Back to jungkook

As he walked his way through the corridor, his ears perked up hearing a bustle in one of the rooms, the voice of his mate and another man whose tone appeared as if frightened, he took quick steps to the direction the voice led to, scattering of things heard as he was about to twist the knob but the door got opened by itself as a man came out running while afraid as jungkook stood there baffled

He stopped the man pushing him away as an object that was right about to hit him got thrown against the wall, jungkook gulped a bit before peeking inside the room, the sight in front of him made him panic a bit

Her palms were bleeding as her hair was a bit disheveled, hairstrands falling messily on her forehead, her eyes turned bright red and her fangs came out, her ears turned a shade of red indicating her anger as jungkook nodded at mingyu to leave who hesitated while jungkook ordered him in an alpha tone making him tremble as he nodded hesitantly giving one last look to hari "please be safe and get back to normal" he whispered because he knew that he couldn't calm her down, perhaps jungkook could.

As mingyu took quick steps and left the area, jungkook went in without wasting a second and held her figure in his arms "shh i am here, it's okay" he tried calming her down, his calming scent hitting her nostrils "get away from me jungkook, i- I might hurt you" she spoke trying to control her rage as she took deep breathes which came out heavy

"Mate, I can't ever leave you, especially when you need me, tell me what happened we will fix it", he spoke in a calm tone as she let out a dark chuckle sending a shiver down his spine "can dead people be brought back to life?" She asked, her knuckles turning white upon the fist she made.

He sighed "they can't, but we can avoid anymore people from dying so calm down love" he whispered as she looked down "But I haven't been doing anything jungkook, people are still dying" she whispered, her visible anger calmed down, but she was right now angry at herself, blaming and hating herself

Her figure trembled trying to calm herself while he peck her forehead, his lips lingering there making her flinch but soon she felt himself leaning towards his touch as she closed her eyes "No love, you are doing everything, you made warewolves to agree working with you and that's something no one could do but you" it really feels like we know each other since before was what both of them felt at the same time

He caress her hair pulling her closer in his embrace before he let go with a final peck as her cheeks were tinted red yet her eyes shone bright red as her expression fell, she now saw jungkook who stared at her eyes mesmerized as she gulp a bit "Jungkook, I-we need to go there" he frowned a bit "where?" He asked in confusion as mingyu peeked inside in panic making her sigh


Mingyu just looked at her from afar, his head popping in as she pointed at him to come inside "Are you okay now princess?" He asked with a little bow as she just squinted her eyes "Mingyu, where is it? The place where the family lives, I wish to go there" she spoke as mingyu frowned a bit but nevertheless told her the location as she gave a slight nod "princess, I'll come with you to guide the way" she just hummed while going towards a table

Motioning her fingers as red light swirled through, she cast a spell making her dagger appear in her palm "I'll come too if you don't mind?" Jungkook asked as she gave a side eye to him before nodding with a smile

"something feels wrong, this vision I had, it portrays of their murder taking place, somehow it feels like something else has taken place, no, being taken place" she thought while surging her dagger with power as she quickly made her way with jungkook who trailed behind with her

"what's wrong?" He whispered asking her as she stared at him while they walked in a quick pace "i had a vision, it showed of how they were being murdered, but something is missing, something doesn't feel right it feels like whatever that creature has planned was prevented"

A surge of pain she felt as she got another vision, a view of the house inside as if that person searched for something or someone.

Her orbs turning red as jungkook's eyes widened a bit "we need to go right now, there's no time to waste" she muttered now running once outside the castle as her eyes turned bright red along with Jk's eyes that had turned bluish grey indicating that his wolf has now taken over, she turned to look at him in surprise "Jungkook's wolf?" She asked as he smiled before giving a slight nod "yes mate, jk" he briefly introduced himself before fully transforming into a wolf

Mingyu who was running behind them couldn't catch up because of their speed as their footsteps couldn't even be heard, their steps light yet fast as the moonlight glowed bright and the wind itself blew against them in a light breeze moving away their hairstrands

All the voices were muffled out as the ringing in her ears grew, making her wince in frustration, her pace only quickening as beads of sweat glistened on her forehead, each limb screaming in pain which she ignored yet as she ran towards the direction that led her to their house, she couldn't help but feel shadows of a person that loomed over and surrounded her, her eyes darting everywhere yet nothing except the eerie whispers of the forest, the crunches of wood breaking against her foot

She grit her teeth in frustration, her feet coming to a halt infront of a house which seemed far from the village, her breath heavy from all the running as her knees weakened yet she didn't fall on her knees rather she stood straight, her chest moving up and down while she took deep and heavy breaths trying to calm down the rhythms of her heart beating in a rather fast manner, jk who had now reached behind her shifted back to his original human form "stay back mingyu" she ordered mingyu who hesitated but nodded because he couldn't go against her orders.

His orbs turning brown as jungkook noticed the house made of straw infront of him, his ears perked up to hear strange sounds, that of an animal's growling "summon out your sword" she whispered while summoning her own sword which surged with red light, her every step quiet and calculated, her gaze sharp

Meanwhile

Hearing footsteps which he was very familiar with, that's when he recognised their scents as his brows furrowed in confusion and soon fear was etched in his facial expressions as he halted in his steps, his eyes now darting to the one place he was sure to find what he desired, yet right now he had to flee or it would be fatal for him, as he got up slowly, dissipating into thin air with a snap of his fingers, black smoke trailing in the air before falling down into the very ground like drops of rain, specks of dust now scattered.

Her breath caught in her throat at the gruesome sight infront of her, dead bodies lay in the room, slaughtered as blood surrounded them, a frown on her lips as she inched closer kneeling down, her fingers slowly making their way to the not so dried blood, as she rubbed the blood on her index finger against her thumb, she frowned "this-this blood, it doesn't feel that of only a vampire's"

Her eyes darting towards another figure whose blood seems to have mixed with the blood she just checked as jungkook widened his eyes in surprise

"This? How is it possible?" He asked in surprise but soon both of their daze was broken as they heard another sound, which heightened their caution.
