If this chapter sucks, I'm sorry. I wrote half of this at night and on random days and I wrote the other half in my car on while I was on a 4 hour drive to my holiday x

-July 14th-

"Maisie! Time to get up!" I open her door.

She makes a little grumbling noise before actually opening her eyes.

"Come on, Mimi. We need to get your brother up for school too." I walk over to her bed and pick her up.

She rubs her eyes and smiles at me. I carry her into Carson's room and let her wake him up. She climbs out of my arms and throws herself on top of him. He groans and chucks a pillow at her, making me and Maisie laugh together.

"Get up for school, big man." Lewis sneaks up behind me, giving me the fright of my life.
"Lewis! You can't keep sneaking up on me like that!"
"Well, actually, I can. Since we're getting married next year, I think it's ok."

Have I not mentioned my wedding? Well, here's my engagement story...

(Flashback)

"Lewis, seriously, where are we going?" I giggle nervously.
"It's a surprise, Lils. You can't peak!" He warns me.
"I physically can't because of how tight you tied this stupid blindfold!" I laugh.

His hand in mine makes me feel a little bit safer, but there's still that fear in me too.

"Lewis, I'm getting scared. Tell me where we are!" I whine, trying to feel around with me free hand.

He chuckles and doesn't reply.

"You think this is funny?" I hit his arm without knowing where he is, making it even funnier.
"Ow! Alright, alright! We're almost there."

I take at least twenty more steps before he finally tells me to stop.

Before he takes my blindfold off, he kisses my cheek. I feel his hands unwrap the blindfold and when he does, my jaw drops in shock.

"Oh my God! This is beautiful!" I run towards the lake in front of me, a perfect path directing me.

I run down the path and I'm met with the most beautiful flower field, the lake right behind it. The sky's pink and I genuinly start to think im dreaming, but my thoughts change when Lewis wraps his arms around my waist and leans his head on my shoulder.

"You like it, then?" He asks, giving me a quick peck on the cheek.
"Like it? I love it!"
"Knew you would."

He walks me down to the lake and I see a picnic blanket beside a tree. There's fairy lights hanging from the tree and a picnic basket beside the blanket. It looks like something from a fairytale. Sleeping Beauty perhaps? I don't know.

"Will there be magic fairies here too?" I joke, putting my arms up to the sky.
"Maybe if you wish hard enough."

We sit at the blanket and talk for a few minutes, until he pulls me to my feet.

"Lily Sarah Nelson, you have no idea how incredibly lucky I am to have you as my girlfriend, but I want more. I want to be with you forever. I love our life right now and I love our kids, but I also love you. Lily Nelson, will you do the honors of marrying me?" He gets down on one knee and pulls out the most stunning ring I've ever seen.

Without hesitating, I jump onto him, knocking us over.

"Im taking that as a yes?" He looks at me questionably.
"YES!"

He kisses me so hard I forget what day it is, what year it is even.

(Flashback ends)

"Carson, you need to get up. I was supposed to get you up fifteen minutes ago." I pat his head.
"Mum, please don't make me go to school!" He whines.
"But, Lucie's back from Spain." Lewis interrupts.
