“Kiana, be brave and push on.” Flame wings appeared on the woman's back as she focused intently on her student, who was no longer in control of their own mind. “You can still end this story the way you want!” It was much like a meteor: a meteorite has a slim chance of making it to Earth before it shrivels up and disintegrates in the atmosphere. Even when it reaches Earth, it usually dissipates on impact, leaving a crater.
“Live, Kiana.” A sad, bittersweet smile crossed her face. Her eyes, once bright with passion, had gone hollow. Was her long life truly just a candle that could be easily blown out? “That’s my... final lesson... for you...” Her lifeless body fell onto the Herrscher of the Void, who was frozen in shock. But as soon as she recovered, she headbutted her away angrily.
The Herrscher had not expected Himeko to spare her, nor was she prepared for the serum that had been injected into her back.
Kiana awoke from her "peaceful" slumber, coughing up water on the shore of a beach. She soon discovered she was in Yokohama, Japan. After the destruction of the realm Sirin had trapped her and Himeko in, she had been dropped into the sea, which carried her to a beach in Yokohama, Japan.
Next, she spent some time laying low, being haunted by ‘Fu Hua’.
Why had Himeko told her to kill her comrades if they were infected? If Himeko had said that, why had she not done so herself? In grief and guilt, Kiana was angry at the world—the world she had vowed to protect but had turned a blind eye to her suffering.
But what good was Kiana Kaslana, without helping others? "A Kaslana's sworn duty is to protect others". If she didn't help people, was she not a Kaslana? Was she just K-423 again. Meaningless. A cold serial number as her only identify.
She tried to escape the hole she had dug herself in, but there didn't seem to be an entrance or an end.
She was stuck spiraling.
Until one day, as she walked down the street on a dark night she heard someone yell out for help.
By instinct Kiana rushed down the street and found a blonde young woman hugging a sobbing child to her chest. The woman was on the verge of tears herself, but attempted to hold it together for her little sister. The childs hair was a dark shade of brown in twintails.
A cough brought Kiana's attention to the assailant.
The appearance of the man attackimg them was unlike anyone Kiana had seen before.
He had soulless eyes that matched the colour of his black hair, the tip of his side bangs turning white. He was dressed like it was the 1800s with a white dress shirt and as well as a jabbot. He also wore a black coat that reached roughly passed his knees.
He was quite thin, Kiana could probably knock the wind out of him and send him flying with a tap. Is what she probably would be thinking if her eyes weren't fixed on the blades protruding out of his coat, some were red, some were black and blended in with his jacket.
