LORELEI HAS NEVER ENJOYED SCHOOL DANCES. They just weren't really her thing. But every time with no fail Leo managed to convince her to go. This time it hadn't been an exception, because not only was Leo begging her to go but also Adam, Bree, and Chase. When Lorelei had agreed to go she hadn't been planning to deal with so many things before the dance. Bree had been freaking out about talking to this one guy she liked named Ethan, because each time she saw him she literally speeded away. Then Adam, Chase, and Leo spend two days arguing over who would go with Danielle, Leo's crush, to the party.

Luckily, all got solved in the end and Lorelei had to admit she had fun. Adam, Bree, and Chase had surely made everything more interesting and now Lorelei could not wait to have another dance to attend to.

"Mr. Davenport, how come you don't have any baking soda in the kitchen?" Lorelei huffed, as she entered the lab. Then she paused, at the sight of a freezing Chase inside the middle capsule. "Also, why is Chase looking like a popsicle? I wanna do that!"

Davenport, Adam, Bree, and Leo turned to look at a disheveled Lorelei, all of them frowning at her appearance. Her hair that had been carefully braided into a dutch braid, was barely holding on with little hairs going all over the place. Her clothes were stained and she had flour on random parts of her face.

"What happened to you? You look like you fought someone and lost." Bree said, surprised at seeing Lorelei so unkept. The girl always looked clean and put together.

"That's just how she looks whenever she tries baking something and it goes wrong." Leo explained, unlike Bree he was very used to seeing this side of Lorelei. He can still remember the first time Lorelei tried baking something. It had been a disaster. After the death of Lorelei's parents, her therapist had recommended for the girl to try out new hobbies to use as a coping mechanism. And for some reason the girl had chosen baking, out of all the options out there.

The blonde had almost burnt down the whole house while attempting to make cookies. Tasha then had strictly prohibited Lorelei to step in the kitchen, forcing the blonde to find some other hobby that didn't implicate leaving them homeless. So, that's when she began taking kick boxing classes. Lorelei has never been the type to enjoy physical activities because she hates sweating, but kick boxing helped a lot with letting out those suppressed emotions out and it was quite fun.

So she did that for a while until Tasha finally allowed her to attempt baking again, of course, this time with supervision and a fire extinguisher at hand. Surprisingly, there was no need for that because her attempt at baking cookies had been a success. When Tasha and Leo tried the cookies they called it the best cookies they ever had, so after that the girl continued baking, leaving behind her kick boxing lessons.
