wide eyed town
you're gone tonight
left the local high school
giving us a fright
don't know where you've gone
but know where you've been
off to the park
thought you had thick skin
into the forest
and off to the trails
all we could hope
you hadn't crossed the rails
but, there you were
hung from a tree
you've said goodbye now
may you rest in peace
