Harry Potter x reader

I sat in potions class, almost falling asleep. I would have already gotten detention of it weren't for Hermione pushing up my head every time Snape walked by. But when she went up to turn in her parchment, Snape had to walk by. "(y/l/n), Potter, detention with me tonight."

'Potter?' I thought. I then realized that Harry was sitting next to me. I rolled my eyes seeing that his head was on the desk and his dark, shaggy hair was spread around him.

I lifted up his head and he woke up. "What did I miss?" he yawned.
"Detention." I simply said.
"I got detention?"
"We both did."
"Fantastic..." he groaned.
"Hey, just be glad I'm there."
"Point taken." he said as he rested his head down on the desk once again.

Harry and I walked into the positions room for the second time today and saw Snape holding papers, getting ready to leave. "You two know what to do." he said coldly as he left. He wasn't wrong. We've both been in here enough to know what to do and how to do it. I got down on my knees in front of all the caldrons and started to scrub. Harry came over and followed my lead.

We finished with the caldrons about an hour later and my arm hurt like hell. "Shelves?" I asked.
"May as well." he grumbled. We went over to the shelves and took everything down. We dusted the shelves and finally put the potions in alphabetical order. Harry and I stepped back and admired out work.

We were slightly sweaty, but at least I got to hang out with one of my best friends. I looked over at him a blushed slightly. I've been avoiding the fact that I might have a small crush on Harry. I know, it's stupid to like him, so I just push away the feelings and except the fact that I'll be alone forever considering that I'm, me.

"Well, I best be off. We have Quidditch tomorrow and-" I was cut off by Harry's lips. I quickly melted into the kiss as he backed me into a wall. I put my arms around his neck as he held onto my waist. We broke away after a couple of minutes for air.

"Catch you tomorrow?" he asked.

"No, you better catch that snitch." I grinned as we walked hand in hand out into the dungeons.
