Author's pov

"Hi" ✨
Was all Taehyung could say and his anxiety was taking over his whole body.

Jungkook looked up to him and got mesmerized by a cute boxy smile of a boy who was standing in front of him. Usually, he just ignore strangers but now somehow he wanted to say it back.

"Hi"

That's it for Taehyung to lose his whole mind. Yeah he imagined that the boy has cute voice like himself but never in a million years he didn't think it would be such an angelic one. He just melted by the small hi from his crush. They sat next to each other looking deep down into e/o eyes and feeling something tinglish inside their stomaches, like butterflies?! And God, that was fantastic.

It was Jungkook who came to his right mind first and looked away with a shy smile and blushing mess pink cheeks. And that's when it hit Taehyung hard that he was staring at the boy like a creep but he was too busy thinking about himself that he forgot that the boy himself also couldn't take his eyes away from him.

"I am Taehyung, Kim Taehyung" Tae said as trying to ease the awkwardness of the moment.

"J-Jungkook....   Jeon Jungkook" boy said after a while with a little stutter which caused him to became even more redder if that was possible.

He himself felt that his cheeks are burning because of shyness or embarrassment, maybe both. So he took his water bottle out of his bag and took some sips trying to not to look at the guy in front of him who just introduced himself as Taehyung.

Taehyung's pov

He was gulping down the water with much difficulty, while his eyes were roaming around the library not being able to look at mine. And that's when it hit me that the boy was "introvert" so he needs some time to get on well together with me.

I wasn't gonna rush him anyways , so I just opened my book and started solving the maths equation which is given by teacher today.

After some time he also calmed down and continued whatever he was doing before I came.

We both knew that we were stealing some glances from each other once in every 10 to 15 minutes and even though it was hard for us to talk more without feeling edgy still I wanted to ease this tensed situation a bit.

"Can you help me with this equation please" was the only thing that came out of my mouth , I regretted it at the exact moment I said those words to him. I mean I know he is good at maths but I am 2 years older than him and possibly he never had such lessons in maths class as well.

"Only if u can, I-I mean u don't have to if u also... " I was trying to wash over my embarrassment with expressing  myself but he just cut me of with his actions.

He took the book from me and look at the equation for some time before tearing the paper from one of his notebooks and started solving it.

I guess equation was indeed hard for his age as he spent over 10  minutes on it and I was losing hope. So I just wanted to say him to not to bother himself and I can just copy it from someone else, he raised his head a bit and looked at my direction saying "All done"

"Seriously, Wow Thanks, how did u do that, I thought u haven't had this lesson as ur a junior" I asked in amusement while my eyes glued on that sheet of paper with a hung open mouth.

He giggled a bit before answering to my question. " I took extra lessons on maths this summer along side with English, however this topic was a little difficult which made me waste more time than requested " he answered smiling cutely at me.
