The Past

5 years ago,

It was getting really dark and was raining heavily......

Woonhak was returning back home after his tuition was over.....

Woonhak was always a Fun loving boy with a bright wide smile and a bright personality..... He always tried to make people around him happy....

That day was also the same...... He was returning back home with a bright smile and humming through the alley.....

While returning he saw a small figure in school uniform drenching in the rain, scared of the lightning, hugging his legs engulfing them into his chest sitting on the staircase shivering hard all through his body.....

Woonhak felt bad for the unknown boy..... Like his personality he wanted to help the boy..... He quickly went to a nearby Convenient store to buy him a warm drink......

He walked towards the boy with a warm drink in his hand..... Hoping that he would feel a bit better.....

As he approached him he saw the boy sobbing hard.....

He still approached him with the umbrella..... The boy felt no more rain drops...... He looked up, to meet a pair of worried eyes..... It belonged to a boy, around the same age as him.....

The boy offered the warm drink he brought for him.....

But as Woonhak brought his hand closer to the boy, the boy flinched hard...... Just repeating the same sentence...... This made Woonhak even more worried....

Jaehyun : Pls don't hit me.... I'm sorry, I won't do this..... Pls I'm sorry.....

Then as the streetlight got lit, Woonhak was shocked to see the boy's body fully covered with bruises.... His shirt was stained with blood...... His face was swollen as if someone had slapped him hard on his face......

Woonhak was shocked to see his state....

Just then, there was a lightning strike....

Jaehyun Flinched even harder....

Without thinking twice, Woonhak knelt to his level and hugged the shivering figure close to his chest....

At first, the boy was scared, but as he noticed the intention wasn't bad.... He bursted out crying...... Holding Woonhak tight...... Searching for warmth.....

Woonhak was saying sweet words into his ears, stroking his head softly....

Jaehyun felt like home for the first time...... Then there was another lightning strike, but it didn't affect The the crying boy.....

Jaehyun POV

I hugged the boy tightly...... He felt like home to me..... I was experiencing this for the first time....

He kept whispering sweet things in my ears stroking my head..... I felt his warmth.....

I kept me head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat, I calmed down..... I don't know what was the reason I felt that..... But it definitely pulled me out of my sorrow for a moment..... I didn't even hear what was going on around me..... Just the heartbeat echoed in my ears.....

I didn't even know who the boy was, but I still wanted him to be close with me forever and ever.....

Then I realized, I didn't even flinch this time as the lightning was struck.... This boy had the warmth he always wanted..... But he still knew that the boy wasn't in his destiny..... He was just here to help him a bit.....

As both of them part, Woonhak gives him a warm smile but his eyes we're still worried for him......
