"I told Melanie it was a bad idea but she didn't listen to me. We dropped her at the dark forest and then Melanie kicked and kicked her till she was badly injured. " Julie blurted out of fear.

"What?? How could you guys do something so rash?" Amy said slamming her hands on the table. They gestured to each other to let them go. Stacy loosened the ropes on both of them. "Leave" Lucian ordered. "Tell Carmen we are done and are coming to meet her" Lucian raked his hands through his hair as he leaned against the wall.

They headed towards the headmistress office. They didn't even bother to knock and just entered. "Our doubts were true" Amy said as she sat down exhausted. Stacy explained everything the girls said to Ms Carmen. "What?? This is worse than I thought" Ms Carmen said as she brushed her hair to the back.

"So what do we do now?" asked Amy. "We have to keep searching and wait for some miracle to happen before her mom gets back from her pilgrimage" replied Ms Carmen worriedly. She instructed them on what to do and they left her office.

"What do you mean by you confessed the truth?" Melanie glared at Julie. "They were intimidating and I just blurted everything out" Julie shivered at the way Melanie was staring at her. "Arrrggggghhhhhh" Melanie stormed towards her and held her neck. "We will see who is more intimidating" Melanie said as she tightened her hold on her neck. "I.. I c.. can't brea... the" Julie said as she struggled for breath.

"Melanie let her go" Becky said as she tried to remove her hand from Julie's neck. "You shouldn't be worried about her confessing. We should be worried about what is going to happen now". Melanie's hold on Julie's neck loosened after listening to what Becky said. Julie quickly used this opportunity to hide behind Becky. "What is going to happen now?" asked Melanie, looking confused.

"We could get expelled which is going to spoil our reputation" explained Becky. "So the headmistress was also in on it with them" said Melanie, realizing why she was called to her office. "They won't do anything to us" said Melanie, smiling sneeringly. "Why won't they do anything to us?".

"She should have called us to her office since but she didn't and they haven't even told her parents yet" explained Melanie. "Now I understand" said Becky, nodding her head. "And you, I'm just letting you off this time. The next time you sell us off again, declare yourself dead" said Melanie, pointing her hands towards Julie who was still hiding behind Becky. "Yes, yes, yes" Julie nodded her head vigorously.

Another week passed and they hadn't found Almora. Whispers had already begun to spread around that Almora was missing. Almora's friends were sitted at their usual table in the cafeteria discussing about the only topic they talked about since Almora's disappearance. "Whispers about Almora's disappearance is spreading in the school like wildfire" said Amy. "How did they even notice?" asked Stacy, surprised.

"You know Almora is a popular unpopular person. I was expecting them to have noticed before but that's not what we should be worried about now" said Amy and the others gave the stare that meant "Go on".

"You know Ms Carmen said that her mom is coming back this Thursday and today is Monday meaning we have just two and a half days to find her" said Amy. "If only Carmen would let us go into the dark forest" Lucian said. "We have no other choice than to wait for a miracle to happen before Thursday" said Stacy, with a downcast tone.

In the dark forest, Almora and Emily were training with their powers. They were having a combat but not like the normal combat. They were having a combat using their powers to fight and attack each other. Emily threw a hit at Almora which hit her on the leg causing her to fall. "You should always misdirect your opponent so he/she won't know what side you are coming from" said Emily, panting as she forwarded her hand to Almora to pull her up. Almora put her hand in hers and stood up leaping. "Couldn't you have just made it miss me?" asked Almora, sarcastically.

Emily chuckled at her tantrums "How will you learn if it didn't hit you?". Almora scoffed at her. "So what's left for me to learn?".

"How to transport" said Emily. "But that is for after you wake up" Emily quickly said, noticing the enthusiasm in Almora. Almora huffed and said "Okay". Emily cooked what they would eat and served. After eating, Almora said "Thank you so much Emily. You have thought me everything about magic that the school would teach me for four years". "I feel like I'm about to graduate". "You are welcome" Emily said. "Now it's time for you to sleep".

Almora yawned and stood up to enter the tent but before she did. She turned back and said with a smile "Good night Emily".

"Good night Almora".
