Riku stood outside the meeting room at AleXa's shop leaned on the wall next to the window and just watched YunHa and Jenna talk to AleXa about what happened.
Riku sighed and ran his fingers through his hair.
"You doing alright kid?"
Riku turned his head to see the voice coming from Amber who had a filled coffee cup.
"Yeah, I just can't believe what Jenna told us three in the car"
He finally responded and Amber gave the cup of coffee to Riku who reciprocated a nod towards her, thanking her for the coffee and took a sip.
"Okay, So her parents got killed in front of her, very traumatic but at least the girl is brave"
Amber said and pointed to Jenna inside the room.
Riku nodded and let out another sigh.
"Where the fuck did she learn all that gymnastics?"
Riku looked away from Amber and back to Jenna inside the room but his eyes traveled to YunHa.
"Some kids teach themselves nowadays, like me, I had to teach myself self-defense, what did you 6 boys do to defend yourselves before Ten picked y'all up?"
Riku stared at YunHa for a minute or two before he finally looked at Amber again.
"You're right, we had to either defend each other or ourselves so we took it upon ourselves to fight each other and teach each other what each of us knew"
Amber smiled and she nodded, reaching over to pat Riku's shoulder.
"You got it, just take care of the kid"
Riku nodded and turned his head when he heard the door to the meeting room finally open.
AleXa sighed and raised her head to look at Riku.
"Okay, so... you two have orders to take Jenna with you two back to Neo HQ, I've already called and cleared with Ten and explained the situation, he is perfectly fine with it"
Riku nodded and he smiled a bit.
"She will be in good hands"
YunHa put her hands over Jenna's shoulders and finally spoke up.
"She'll ride with me if you don't mind"
Riku shrugged and chuckled.
"My social battery is drained anyway"
AleXa gave a thumbs up to the two before she went to find eaJ and her son.
"Let's get going you two"
Riku said as he tossed YunHa her car keys and started walking.
YunHa smiled like a child once Riku couldn't see her face anymore. Jenna caught wind of that tension real quick.
On the ride home, Jenna decided to poke the bear a bit with a few questions about Riku.
"So... what was that?"
YunHa came out of her train of thought. She was watching ahead at Riku's car that was going fast like they were earlier but he slowed down every once in a while.
"Huh?"
YunHa asked and she glanced at Jenna before she propped her arm up and rested her head against it.
"You smiled when that boy tossed your keys"
YunHa chuckled a bit which made Jenna more curious.
"He's my partner, really close in age so we got along quickly"
Jenna narrowed her eyes at the girl and asked another question.
"Do you think he's cute?"
"Wha- I- I mean... he..."
Jenna crossed her arms and hummed, waiting for YunHa to answer.
"Okay, he's got good looks, I'll give him props for that but it's not like I... like... like him"
Jenna shook her head and chuckled, making YunHa glance at her again.
"What's so funny?"
"What's funny?"
Jenna laughed aloud now and she slapped her knee.
"Jeez, you two look so obvious and oblivious"
"What?"
YunHa asked again with a whiny voice.
"Love at first sight, when was the first time you two saw each other?"
YunHa thought back to the day they joined NCT.
"I... was with my dad and my uncle, I was the first who got to meet them because of rules my dad wanted to place with how close in age a few of them were to me"
Jenna pointed at YunHa and smiled.
"Give it a chance"
"What?"
YunHa asked once more and Jenna sighed.
"Love gotta give it a chance sooner or later, be real"
Soon enough, the three finally got back to HQ, and YunHa and Jenna got out.
Jenna's eyes widened and she gasped in awe. She's seen buildings before but none this tall as Neo HQ.
"Be real, it's a crummy building outside but it's nice inside"
YunHa looked at Jenna before getting her to follow her inside where they meet Riku inside.
"You two got here safe"
Riku said and smiled. YunHa smiled back and nodded. In the middle of a wholesome moment, Ten stepped in.
"Welcome back agents, this is Jenna?"
The two agents nodded and he looked at Jenna and smiled.
"Let's keep this introduction short, I'm Chittaphon Leechaiyapornkul, call me Ten, and I'll show you to your room"
Ten put an arm on Jenna's shoulder and walked away from the two hearing Jenna say something just barely in earshot.
"Damn, you got a mouthful of a name"
The two started laughing for a moment before Riku looked at YunHa and inhaled deeply.
"I can walk you to your room"
YunHa chuckled and smiled at Riku's gentle manners.
"Thank you, Agent Maeda"
YunHa bumped Riku's shoulder and walked slowly with Riku to her room.
