6 - informal conflict

Norman raises an eyebrow. "Sorry but who's vinn?" He asks. "He's my childhood friend. After I became friends with Tyler, he started avoiding me.. " Skylar replies.

"Is that why you're sad?" Norman questions as Skylar looks down. "No.. It's just.. I confronted him yesterday. But all he did was shook his head and walk away.."

"No wonder.. Is he in our class?" Skylar looks up at Norman's question and shakes his head.
"He's actually in the classroom above our floor" Norman looks up before the bell rings for their first period.

Periods pass, it was finally their lunch break. As Norman was making his his way to the cafeteria, he spots Tyler reading something in the corner of the hallway. Norman as about to walk past him before—

"What no greeting?"
Tyler spats out as Norman was inches away from him.

"Sorry.. I didn't notice you." Norman lied as Tyler stands up "it's fine. Where are you up to?"

"Cafeteria" Norman says simply.

"Count me in"

Norman's eye twitches. Hell no I'm taking him with m—

Norman and Tyler walks towards the cafeteria, before Tyler suddenly stop in a halt, Norman was about to ask him why before Tyler shushes him.

Tyler was observing another student with blonde hair.

"Huh. He looks lonely without sky" he says before snickering. Norman raised an eyebrow as he couldn't contain his curiosity. "He's friends with sky?" Tyler nods in response. "Yeah. Well, I'm actually not sure. Vinn and sky don't talk much these days"

Vinn.

The conversation with Skylar earlier plays in Norman's head. "So that's vinn.. " Norman says softly. He quickly snaps out of his thoughts as Tyler pats his back. "Let's go?" Norman nods, making their way to the cafeteria.

After a whole day of school, as Norman was about to leave the front gate, he sees Skylar. Wiping his eyes. It seemed like he was crying.

Norman quickly runs towards Skylar and asks worriedly "sky? What's wrong?"

Skylar looks at him and sniffs "o-oh.. Norman! I just had a bit of dust in my eyes." Putting up a smile, Skylar rubs his eyes again. Norman frowns, clearly not believing him. "Skylar you were crying. I know it." He says before Skylar looks at him and bursting in tears again.

"I-its just.. Vinn has been really mean lately.. I don't what I did wrong.." Sky says as he continues to cry. Norman felt a twinge of sympathy towards his sobbing friend as he pats his back comfortingly. "I'm sure he's just in a bad mood" he says as Skylar leans into his shoulder and continues to sob.

On the other hand, they were unaware that Tyler was listening in. He sighs before leaving the two alone.

After a while, Vinn was smoking in an alleyway before someone slams him on the wall.

"Have you realized what you've done?" Tyler says coldly as he holds vinn against the wall. vinn groans "dude what the hell?!" He spats out before processing what Tyler said. "What.. I've.. Done..? What are you talking about?! Let me go!"

Tyler holds him tighter "Skylar is crying because of you" he says coldly. That sentence echoes in Vinn's ears.

"I.. Made him cry..?"
