Am I Worthy

3rd Person POV

Sometimes there comes a time in someone's life when they question their worth for young Scott Major it was way too early every day he would question if he was meant to be King and if this was what he was meant to do because he wasn't first born it was Xander but he abandoned his position so young Scott Major questioned himself, it didn't help that the council, his father and everyone around him didn't believe in him always telling him that his brother would have done better but he thought if he would have done better then why did he leave why did he abandon all of them but in the midst of all that there was always someone who believed in him someone who always told him to ignore all those bad comments.

Scott's POV

I was in front of the council again just listening to them talk about the empire and why I was not worthy of the throne sometimes I don't even listen to these things because they are just insulting me after the meeting I went into town to buy some things for a pastry I will bake for mum today because she is the only one who believes in me. Whispers and murmurs are going around once I land I know it's nothing good so I don't listen in anymore, I get home my mum and dad are fighting about me it's always about me I can hear them arguing and then my father says some awful things about me and I start to cry they heard me I ran to my bedroom and locked the door (A few mins later) mum knocked on my door and I let her in we sat on my bed " Hun don't listen to them, your dad doesn't know what he is talking about" she said "But mum my own father thinks I'm not right for the position" I said 

Mum: Don't listen to him if your brother could have done better then why did he leave

Scott: I guess you're right

Mum: A good king doesn't leave even when the going gets tough

Scott: Thanks mum, I love you

Mum: I love you too

Scott: I'll go to the kitchen, I'm making your fave

Mum: I will look forward to it

I will prove them wrong Mum I'll make you proud 

3rd person POV

Years pass and Scott takes the throne and everyone who told him he wasn't right for the job ate their words back up Scott was the best king Rivendell had seen.

Scott's POV

Dad: Scott I was wrong about you, you actually made a great king

Scott: Thanks dad

Mum: See, I told you, you just need to believe

Scott: Thanks Mum for believing in me, maybe I am worthy
