Siya's pov

It's been 10 days already. Unnie was discharged and we brought her home. Little Jin is still continuing with his studies as usual, I however, haven't been to school in the mean time. There's no way I can leave my sister in this state alone. Audrey offered to help but I declined her generous offer.

While it absolutely shatters my heart, at this rate I don't think I can.......study anymore.

I don't think I can attend school any longer. Meul unnie is on wheelchair. She can barely do things on her own. Someone has to be by her side 24/7. Or I'm afraid she may end of hurting herself. God forbids if she falls or can't get off the bed.

I haven't seen Ian after that night. He should be gone by now. And thank God for that. However, his money is also leaving my account just as rapidly. Over $150,000 were spent just on unnie's medical bills, scans and X-rays. With more follow ups lined up. Another $20,000 spent on mum's bills. Which I'm glad I paid on time. Jin's fees isn't a significant amount so I have no worries about that but what I'm worried about is the $500,000 that I had to pay loan sharks.

It was until 2 days ago I found out a group of low life loan sharks were after our home. They came in with documentation as well claiming mum had loaned $510,000 from them. If we didn't pay it off on time, they will capture our home.

What's worse is that Meul unnie was well aware of this and yet didn't mention a thing to me. She had even paid these loan sharks $10,000 with full $500k remaining.

Now that it's all been paid for, we shouldn't have to worry.

But now I'm drowning in debt. I only have $320,000 to my name in just a span of 10 days. Approximately $680,000 has been spent already. Which pushes me further in debt to Ian.

I have to returned all his money in 2 years. If I fail to do so, he will torture me.

I don't know what to do? Where am I supposed to find so much money???

I couldn't help but burry my head in my hands with thoughts bombarding me. I had my head down as I sat on the chair outside.

That is until a hand on my shoulder caught my attention. I looked to the side to see unnie watching me with a soft smile. I couldn't help but simply look away.

"Are you still mad at me? I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. I know I should have told you about the loan sharks but I just didn't want you to worry."

"I'm not mad at you. But I would have appreciated it if you told me. We're a family after all, we're supposed to share everything with one another."

She gave me an apologetic look with a soft smile. As she held my hand in hers.

"I'm sorry. I know I shouldn't have kept it a secret from you. I won't do it again."
