Aiden x Ashlyn - A Night Alone

Chapter 1

Ashlyn was an ordinary girl. She had ginger hair and green eyes. However, one flaw was that she was sensitive to loud noises. Ashlyn did have some friends however. They were, Taylor, Tyler, Logan, and Ben.

Taylor and Tyler were twins, Logan was her childhood friend and Ben... well he was just a friend of Taylor's. The interesting thing about Ben, is that he's mute and doesn't talk at all.

TayTay: Hey guys wanna go to a party with me?

Carrot Top: Sure why not, it'll be fun I guess. Just as long as it's not too loud.

TayTay: Yay! And no, I don't think it'll be too loud for you Ash.

Star: Yeah I don't mind going. Plus I got nothin better to do anyway.

Benn: It's at my house just so y'all know. I asked Taylor to tell you guys. Plus my cousin Aiden will be there so you might get to see him.

TayTay: You never told me you had a cousin!

Benn: Yeah I do, I live at his house... remember?

TayTay: Oh yeah! Oops, must've forgot haha.

Star: What time is the party at?

Benn: 10:30

Carrot Top & Half wit: Ok, thanks

TayTay & Star: Yeah, thanks Ben!

Ashlyn's POV:
'Well better get ready since it's 9:59 already'. I thought, turning off my phone. I walked to my dresser and seen if I had any dresses. I saw this emerald green one that really stood out to me out of all the others.

'I wonder who that Aiden kid is that Ben was talking about in the group chat. Oh well, guess I'll have to wait till the party'. I thought to myself as I put on my dress. I put my hair in a pony tail this time since I always do braids.

I grabbed my noise cancelling ear buds, and my phone as well. I checked the clock, 'Damn it's already 10:20'! I thought as I quickly went down stairs.

I saw my mom and dad on the couch watching TV. "Hey mom, dad, just so you know I'm going out to a party with my friends. I'll be back at 10:50"! I told them as I headed for the door and got into my car.

{Author's note: Just so y'all are aware in this story Ashlyn is 18 so she can drive!}

I drove to Ben's house. It took me 5 minutes to get there and I was on time. Then I saw Logan, Taylor and Tyler pull up into Ben's drive way as well. They all got out of their cars. "Hey guys! Thought you weren't gonna show up on time". I said, walking over to them.

"I honestly thought you weren't gonna show up". Logan replied jokingly as we walked up to Ben's door. "Alright who's knocking, cause I ain't". Tyler offered to knock, but of course; instead of knocking he banged on the door.

"TYLER HERNANDEZ WE TALKED ABOUT THIS! NO BANGING ON PEOPLE'S DOORS"! Taylor yelled at him. But before Tyler could argue back, Ben opened the door and let us in.

[Time skip to the party]

Ashlyn's POV:
I walked into the huge house. It was almost like a mansion, his cousin must've been rich or something cause damn! Then I saw a blonde haired boy with red eyes sprint down the stairs. I'm assuming this is the Aiden kid Ben was talking about.

"Hey Ben! Oh so these are your friends? Well hi guys, I'm Aiden; Ben's cousin"! He said enthusiastically. "Oh, hi Aiden! I'm Taylor, this is my twin brother Tyler. And this is my friend Logan and my best friend Ashlyn"! Taylor replied back cheerfully.

"Ashlyn huh... very interesting". He turned to me and smiled, which was weird cause I never really talked to any other guys besides Ben, Tyler and Logan.

Next thing I knew before I could even comprehend anything he grabbed me by the arm and dragged me inside to the dance floor. "I can walk myself you know"? I muttered underneath my breath. "Have fun with your new boyfriend Ash"! Taylor teased, telling from the doorway.

"He's not my boyfriend! We literally just met dumbass"! I yelled back at her, only to be met with Aiden looking directly at my face.

Aiden's POV:
I looked at the beautiful ginger haired girl that stood right in front of me. I don't know why but something about her stood out to me. That's when I noticed her earbuds. "Hey what are those earbuds for"? I asked with pure curiosity, but I tried not to dig into her personal life since we just met.

"I'm sensitive to loud noises". The girl responded back heasitantly. "Oh mk, sorry I asked, I was just curious; that's all"! I replied back, however she just nodded. "What's your name again"? "Ashlyn... Ashlyn Banner". She replied back, her voice slowly trailing off.

"And you must be Aiden, Ben's cousin... correct"? "Yeah, I am! I'm assuming Ben must've told you"? I questioned, still looking at the beautiful ginger girl. "He has... well... once actually".
