Ashlyn's POV:
I don't know why but my heart was racing faster than normal. "Aiden... can I tell you something"? I wanted to tell him that I liked him, even though we only knew each other for 3 weeks.
"Yeah of course, you can tell me anything"! He replied, smiling at me, his red eyes gleamed in the light making them have a glow affect.
"Promise me you won't laugh". I told him, making sure he won't make fun of me. "Of course I won't, why would I laugh at you"? "Well you laugh at everything stupid". I replied back, "Yeah fair but what did you wanna tell me"? He asked, then I finally had the courage to tell him.
"Well um... oh god how do I not make this awkward"? I tried to find out a way to tell him. "Not make what awkward Ashy"? He asked me, Aiden looked at me dead in the eyes. "Um... how would you react if I told you that I liked you"?
Aiden's POV:
'Ok now that's not what I was expecting. Especially if it was coming from Ashlyn'. I thought as I tried to recollect what just happened. "Well um... I don't know how I'd act". I told her, but then I saw the look of pure sadness on her face.
Ashlyn's POV:
'Crap I knew I made it sound weird'!, I thought. "O- oh o-ok... Mph"! I wasn't able to finish my sentence. 'Holly fuck did Aiden kiss me just now or am I being delusional'?!
Aiden broke apart the kiss, letting us get air. "A- Aiden did you just do what I think you did"?! Aiden didn't respond and just kissed me again. It felt weird but nice at the same time, I didn't know if this was right or wrong.
"Ashlyn, I do love you. In all honesty I was gonna tell you but I didn't think you'd like me as well". Aiden told me, pulling me into a hug. It stayed like this for a good while, oh how I wish it could've lasted forever.
"I... I love you too Aid". I told him as I sat back up and smiled at him. I knew that here on out he was the one. And it was gonna stay like that forever.
