Dabi noticed your mood take an absolute nosedive, not in the way of you being angry now, but your demeanor changed, and he didn't like seeing you like this one bit.
"How about we get slushies and play some video games before you leave?" He suggested.
You looked at the time and back up to him, "It's getting late, maybe next time."
He scoffed, "Ofcourse you'd chicken out now, knowing you have no chance against me."
You twitched, chuckling as you laid back in your seat, "Alright, one round, what's your wager?"
"If you lose, I get your number, if I lose, you get my number." He smiled.
You laughed loudly, "Some wager you got there. Plus, I told you, I have a boyfriend."
He sighed, giving a soft smile, "Aren't friends supposed to have ways to contact each other?"
You chuckled, "You're right, but let me add something, whoever loses as to pay for the slushies."
Dabi held out his hand towards you, "Deal."
Ofcourse, once you got there, it was as if your victory was pre-determined, which, well it kind of was.
"Alright alright, I've been horribly defeated." Dabi put his hands up as a gesture.
You chuckled, "As if you didn't know this was gonna happen."
"Let's go get the winner a slushie." He smiled.
You two walked over to the drink stand, got yourself what you wanted.
"Well I lost, which means you also get my number." Dabi chuckled.
You rolled your eyes and smiled, "Yeah yeah, whatever."
You gave him your phone, the keypad opened and he did the same, saving each other's phone numbers.
Finishing up, you looked at the time, it was around 3am.
"I think I better head home now." You said, sighing as you smiled at Dabi.
"Yeah it's gotten really late, get home safe." Dabi replied, watching you get your keys from your purse.
"I will, thanks Dabi." You replied.

You woke up, rubbing your eyes.
Your throat felt strained and your head was banging, you could've sworn you were forgetting something.
Oh.
You picked up your phone, rolling your eyes as you responded to the message left by Todoroki the previous night with a half-hearted, "It's okay."
Was it okay though?
No.
It wasn't.
It never is, but you've grown too tired to care.
Whether you knew it or not though, the built resentment grew stronger and stronger each day.
Every fight created more hatred, you'd grow angrier and angrier each time it happened, yet still, your soft side found it in you to be nice to him, show him affection, give him time and gifts, love him, but every slip-up made lessened your tolerance with each encounter.
It felt like the anger from a previous fight would reignite and increase in the next one.
You used to look at the pictures he sent you or the ones you saw of him on posters or the internet and fawn, completely lose your mind.
