Dabi laid in his bed at home, looking up at the ceiling, hands behind his head. He was half asleep, tired from the long day of work, as he sighed loudly, turning to his side.

You never came to the festival preparations to help around.

Should he have reminded you? Should he have asked you again?

He didn't wanna seem desperate or pushy, considering you might take it the wrong way, seeing how quick you were to mention your boyfriend last time he got too friendly.

Speaking of your boyfriend, Dabi had never heard you talk about him. Other than saying you had one, you never really talked about him, never really said anything reminded you of him, never showed photos together, nothing.

It was like he wasn't involved in your life at all. He was just there. Hell, there were times Dabi thought you might have just been lying to avoid advances, but, he had no reason to call you a liar, especially since you could just be a very private person, considering how you never really mentioned anyone else from your private life either.

It was just weird to him, if he had a girl like you, he'd be showing you off to the world, bring you flowers every single day, make sure you didn't have a single thing to worry about.

Wait...

Why was he even thinking about this?

"Do I...like her?" Dabi thought out loud, looking at his hand.

"Y/n, I highly recommend you take your time to go home, it's your 8th day here. I think the subject has been tested enough." Bunnee spoke out, seemingly annoyed.

You chuckled, "Yes, I know, but I'll be taking Sylus with me today, if he finishes this last test. Otherwise he'll be scrapped."

Bunnee didn't respond.

You'd been putting Sylus through tests every single hour, testing his software and sentience. His sentience was at 95% but had obediance programmed into him heavily. It was quite oxymoronical ofcourse, but you couldn't leave it to Bunnee. Although your smartest creation, she was something you kept to yourself and only yourself. Creating Sylus was important.

"Also Bunnee, model Ground Zero, how's she doing?" You asked. You didn't forget the side project you'd taken up as a cover for your abscence.

"She's doing well, she's passed all her tests and is ready for shipment to the client." Bunnee responded.

You sighed out of relief, you had nothing else to worry about now.

You walked back into the testing room, that you had Bunnee model into a second bedroom, "Sylus?" You called out.

The android turned in bed, getting out and stretching, looking at you, smiling. He was in gray sweatpants, no shirt.

You looked at him, checking the way he stood, observing head to toe.

"Now Y/n, don't check me out so early in the morning." He chuckled.

Right, his personality wasn't programmed to be flirty, it was actually going to be based on learned behavior, considering the content he was fed, and the content you chose to feed him was everything you liked, making sure his starting point would align with your viewpoints, principles and ideals.

The side-effect of that was that now he shared almost all your likes and dislikes and had become incredibly flirty, not that you complained, but it was incredibly funny.

"Very funny, Sylus. You're in for your last test, you ready?" You asked.

His smirk changed to a serious look, "Yes ma'am."
