2. It Still Works Though

A few hours had passes, you sat in your room finishing up some tasks your boss had given you.

The life of a the most sought out software engineer and tech creator wasn't easy by any cost but if you had any ease, it was that you could work from your house, and you really only had to go on-site once or twice a month, either for the sake of on-site meetings or for maintenance.

Your work as both a coder and an inventor were not taken lightly, being an integral part of any company who commissioned you.

As you had stopped taking new product commissions for a while, these days you found yourself working on your PC, doing the software and security related tasks you were given, checking work that was submitted to you for approval and whatnot, and then you got to do whatever you wanted with the rest of your time.

You were quite happy with this situation, the workload wasn't alot, and you really only needed 3-4 hours to get it all done, but you didn't tell your clients that.

The paycheck from this type of work was nice too, although you earned your fortune from your product commissions, you were supporting yourself and your cousin, you didn't want Elliot to worry about anything other than studying, so she could be the hero she always wanted to. That quirk of hers was a really powerful thing, if she could learn to properly control and master it, and that hellhole of a house wasn't helping her either. You hadn't let her live in the dorms just yet though, you needed to protect her yourself.

Finishing up your work, you made yourself and Elliot some iced coffee, settling back into your room to play some games.

Toga still hadn't left, she was sleeping on your bed, exhausted from the long day. She was a rather cute looking woman, her blonde hair in perfectly messy space buns, her bangs parting from certain areas beautifully, her skin rosy and smooth.

You admired her from your seat, waiting for your game to boot up.

Her quirk was a rather interesting one, one that could be pretty dangerous as well, but she's done nothing but be there for you when you needed her, so you always respected her and had her back.

You saw her shift, her eyes opening. "Woah, you're staring at me. Kinda gay." She smiled at you, that mischievous look on her face.

You chuckled, turning to your screen.

She walked closer to you, putting her hand on your shoulder, "Not that that's a problem to me." She said, leaning down to face you.

She took off your headphones, spinning your chair to her, "You've had a long day." She stated promptly.

You were taken aback by her sudden force, you now stared right at her.

"Why don't I take you somewhere you can blow off steam? Take out that frustration and get rid of that depression I see creeping up on you?" She offered, her hand still on your shoulder, as she now held a sympathetic expression.

You sighed, smiling as you looked to the ground, "Sure, let's go." You agreed.

She excitedly pulled you off your chair, grabbing clothes out of your wardrobe to create an outfit for you.

It was a simple large purple hoodie with black shorts, combat boots and some accessories. Toga loved your piercings, although you only had a few, nose, ear lobe and 2 helix, belly button and tongue.

Ah, guess they're not "only a few" after all, but she always made sure you made sure you looked your best, whenever she was there that is. When she wasn't you'd basically live in pajamas.

You and her sat down, doing your makeup to your own personal preferences, adding finishing touches when done.

"You look so cute, Y/n." Toga slapped your arm repeatedly out of cuteness aggression.
