I never thought I would make it this far with a fairly well written story...
~~~~~~
It had been two days since I received my letter and after I had gotten over my initial shock I accepted it. I was currently in the same pub as the one I went to when I got lost, walking through behind David. I saw the bartender and smiled pleasantly, to which he smiled toothily back. We soon found ourselves in a bustling street called Diagon Alley. I saw loads of witches and wizards rushing around, pulling and pushing children into and out of shops.
"First we should get your cauldron," David said, leading me into a shop to my left.
~~~~~~
"So now we only have to get you a wand and a pet, if you want," David said after two hours of relentless shopping.
"Okay, can we get my wand first?" I asked, looking for the shop.
"Sure! This way," David said, leading me into a dusty, old shop where an old man stood, looking out of the door.
"Oh, hello!" he said happily when he noticed us. "Ah, Hogwarts I assume. Let me see," he said, leaning in slightly to study my face.
I soon found piles of boxes around me, each holding a useless wand. I had tried so many that my arm was aching from all the waving around! Ollivander, the old man, eventually came out with one box that was wider than the others and in very pristine condition.
"This is the only one I have left to give you," he began. "It is one of the finer wands I have made. Ash, 12 inches, unicorn tail hair, unyielding."
He handed it to me and I opened the box curiously, my frown dropping to a deadpan as I saw the wand. The wand itself was pale, but stuck on top was a bright green star. I took the wand from the box none the less and gave it a wave.
Out of the end came a great shower of shamrocks all over the floor.
"Interesting," he hummed, scratching his chin before going to put the rest of the wands back.
"What do you mean?" David asked, stopping Ollivander before he walked off.
"It's just that I sold three wands with the same core from the same unicorn that was in all of the three wands and the one here. Also they all had a star. Basically they are all brothers, but I sold all of those at once only earlier today," he explained.
'Maybe they were my brothers!' I thought happily.
"We should get going," I said loudly, pulling David towards the exit.
"10 galleons!" Ollivander said.
"Let me pay first!" he chuckled, dropping the money on the counter before thanking Ollivander and going outside.
"I want a pet!" I said, looking for the pet shop.
"What kind? A toad, a cat or an owl?"
"I don't want any of those," I said, huffing and crossing my arms.
"We can take a look," David sighed, leading the way to a smelly shop full of animals.
I saw toads, rats, cats, birds, snakes, lizards, you name it! I was browsing around in the snake section when one in particular caught my eye. It was beautiful with shiny navy blue scales and blood red diamonds, lined with black and white, on its back. I reached in and picked it up slowly, letting it coil around my arm and up around my torso.
"I want this one!" I cried to David who was looking elsewhere.
"No," he said bluntly seeing the snake.
I sighed and slid it off of my shoulders, looking around some more until I laid eyes on a fluffy, white kitten with bright green eyes that reflected my own. I rushed over and lifted it, brushing my nose against its and turned to David, who cracked a small smile and paid for it.
"I am going to call you Shamrock!" I said happily to the little, female kitten after David had checked its sex.
David rolled his eyes at the name and said, "We need to get a move on home."
"Okay," I replied, putting all my things away and picking them up, ready to leave and go home.

Dear god, this chapter was the hardest to write! I am hoping it will get easier to do once they get to Hogwarts! If there are any particular requests for years I will see if I can do them. Why do the chapters seem to be getting shorter and shorter? >~<
