Ep.6 I Don't know

Ash's POV

I was walking and finding Pikachu after talking to mom while wondering about
'Why did Mom need to talk to Misty?'
I went to my living room and found my yellow electric buddy eating cupcakes on his own. "Heeeey~! you are eating alone buddy!" I said a little bit loudly.
"pika pika" Pikachu was still eating silently and enjoying the sweet taste. I went there with hush! "Can I join you ?" I asked very very politely with my hands together. Pikachu moved the plate towards me. There were 3 cupcakes left Pikachu was eating 1. I sat on the couch and started eating the cupcakes.

After a while

"Wow~! Those cupcakes were so tasty." I said with my eyes closed and resting my back on the couch.(⁠*⁠˘⁠︶⁠˘⁠*⁠) "Pika Pikachu (yes you are right)" Pikachu synced with me.

Author's POV

*Ding dong* the door bell rang.
"Huh?" Ash did "who can it be?".
Ash stood up and walked to the way to his main door. He opened it.
"Our~ champion!Congratulations~!!" Party poppers popped out on Ash and his hair got full of its little pieces. After focusing he recognised, it was Brock, Lucy, May and Max. Ash hugged Brock then Max hugged Ash, after a moment Max broke the hug and said "You're finally the champion now Ash , I'm so happy for you." "Thank you guys, Welcome." Ash welcomed them.

They came in and sat on the couch and Ash also."you 4 are the first guest who came for my party." Ash said while smiling. "We thought ,We should go first. After all I am your old friend." Brock said while looking at Lucy and they both smiled at each other then turned to Ash. "And I thought that I will also help you a little in the preparations for the party." He added his thoughts into the conversation.

"That's so nice of you Brock, thank you so much." Ash said "And I wanted your help anyway." Ash said a little bit nervously. "what help do you need? Ash" Brock asked. "Actually, I just wanted to make my party creative so that's why I was about to talk to you and May about this." Ash explained.

"Oh~ you want to do something interesting in your party, huh~?" May asked. "Yea-" Ash got cut off.

"Hey Ash! I've got my first Pokémon, I wanna show you it, can I?"Max asked with excitement. "Yeah! sure." Ash answered while smiling. Max called his first Pokémon out , it came out.
"Wow! You chose Treecko!" Ash said with sparkles in his eyes. "He's so cool, isn't he? Ash!" Max asked with the same expression Ash had. "Yes! yes! Really cool!" Ash said like an excited child.

"And~ These child can never grow up." May said with a sweat drop and shrugged. ┐⁠(-_- ')⁠┌
Ash and Max , both turned in sync and Ash said "we are not children."
"Yeah! We just can't control ourselves when it comes something about Pokémons." Max argued with May. May was shocked with a nervous smile. Brock and Lucy laughed, "guys you are amazing." Lucy said while smiling. "For what ?" Ash and Max asked in unison while turning their head at 45° with dotted eyes. (•-•)
"See! You two don't understand even this much, I told you that you can never grow up " May said with annoyance. They both were just about to say something but then Delia came with a tray.
"Here guys , have some tea" Delia offered. "Thank you Mrs. Ketchum" they all said in unison.

After finishing the tea

After placing the cup on table May asked to Ash "So Ash I have some ideas to make your party creative." "Really! Thank you so much May-"
"But first" she cut him off "Tell me, where's your girlfriend? I wanna meet her." May asked while placing her hands together with her eyes closed, full of excitement and a cute blush.

"Huh?" Ash did "I don't know" he answered with confused expression. May got shocked with dotted eyes and asked "what? you don't know where your girlfriend is now?" Suddenly he realised what has he said , he turned his head away while blushing "I-I said that, I-I don't know w-what a-are you talking about?"

Ash replied while looking here and there with an excuse.

How did I thought that she's talking about 'her'. She's just my friend not 'my girlfriend'. If I'll say something wrong everyone will tease me. C'mon, why am I so dumb.

Ash thought in his mind. "But, Max said that you've a girlfriend now." May exclaimed and in the other Max was very scared with sweat dropping from his head and blue animated shades of fear.(⁠;⁠ꏿ⁠_⁠ꏿ⁠;⁠)
"What? Who said this to him?" Ash asked with a very normal tone. "Max!!!" May got furious and with a frown she shouted on Max. "You lied to me!!" "I'm sorry sis!" Max said fearfully. "Now I understood. You wanted to show your first pokémon to Ash, right?!" May asked, Max rubbed the back of his head with his palm and got a slight blush on his nose.

Max was smiling nervously then Ash said "C'mon May! Just forget about this. At least you two came here soon and that is really a good thing." May thoughts a little "yeah you're right." She said.
"You didn't even want to come here , right May?" Max asked with a grinning smile and half closed teasing eyes. May got a chill through her spine and did"Eeh!" Then she blushed. Ash just looked at them "Why May?" Lucy asked. "I'll tell you why" Max said "Just shut up Max!" May ordered. "Because she wanted to go on a date with her boyfriend." May got a big blush through her nose to cheeks and ears. "WHAT!? May you have a boyfriend?" Ash and Brock questioned loudly "pika pika!" Pikachu said after them in shock.

After a while

They all sat quietly, "actually, he's Drew" May directly told them his name while rubbing the back of her head. "Seriously?!! I thought that you two will never ever become friends." Ash said very shockingly. "Oh! C'mon Ash~ love just happens it's beyond anyone's control." Brock said. "Hmm...." Ash did.

"Well, I had also gave him invitation why didn't he came with you then?" Ash asked. "Tsk!" May did. "Actually the matter is, she has a quarrel with him. That's why she didn't come with him." Max explained May grinned her teeth then crossed her arms, closed her eyes and did "huh!". They all sweat dropped "anyway he would have come soon, may be he has already arrived here." Max exclaimed.
*Ding dong* again door bell rang.
