Frisk POV

For the past couple of days, something changed within him after Nii-san returned from his date. I thought he would ogling Yuma-san, but now he was flat-out ignoring her. Another strange thing is that Yuma-san wanted Nii-san to pay attention to her.

I tried asking Chara about it, but she flipped out every time I mentioned Yuma. I forgot how much Chara hates Yuma. She really detests her. Chara had to do all the household chores the entire time Mom and Dad were on the trip. This was due to her stunt from the other day.

Yuma-san comes off as kind, but something is unsettling about her as if she is pretending to be someone she's not.

I made a mental note of these thoughts as we all walked to school. Yuma tried to start a conversation with Onii-Chan, but he seemed more interested in texting someone else, perhaps the girl he was talking he has been talking to, I believe her name was Serafall if I wasn't mistaken. I felt a mix of happiness and concern for him. Ever since Irinia Nee-San left, Issei stopped making new friends and rarely went outside. This was also the time when he started behaving inappropriately.

Yuma-san looks very irritated... but why? Does she also like Nii-san? But that wouldn't make sense; they just met, and Nii-san barely talked to her. Yuma-san began to speak, so I listened to what she had to say.

"Um, Issei-San, did you hear what I said?" said Yuma, her eye twitching. Issei just glanced at Yuma, then looked back at his phone and responded with, "Yeah." This caused Chara to laugh at Yuma, which irritated her, especially with Issei. Eventually, we all separated and went our separate ways, especially Yuma, whose school was thirty minutes away. I didn't think it was strange for her to walk to her school.

Issei Pov

It was lunchtime, so I decided to eat my lunch on the hill. Usually, I hang out with Saji, Matasuda, and Motohama, especially Saji because he shares the same intellect as me. Motohama was very smart as well, but he and Matasuda were too perverted for my liking. I was eating a chicken salad sandwich while watching the clouds. Hearing my phone ring, I smiled when I saw the text Serafall sent me she sent me a text. "Saying how much she missed me while sending me a heart emoji.

With a happy smile, I promptly replied to her text, expressing how much I missed her and inquiring about her availability for either this evening or next week. As I waited for her response, I took out a slip of paper that Serafall had given me. It was an intriguing piece of paper with a peculiar crest. It reminded me of a time when I had come across a similar symbol while reading a book on demonology.

I believe this was the crest of Sitri... A demon prince who ruled his own government from hell... But that couldn't be true... The supernatural doesn't exist. Putting the piece back in my pocket, I begin to eat my sandwich while ignoring the sounds of Matasuda and Motohama's cries. Idiots, they should do what I did and get a girlfriend. Well, easier said than done, I suppose.

End of Pov

Meanwhile

A curvaceous woman with long red hair was watching Issei. Her bluish-green eyes were fixed on him, especially when she noticed the paper slip in his hand. "Akeno, who is that boy?" asked the redhead, as she took a seat on one of the empty sofas. She was waiting to be served delicious tea, while also gathering the information she needed for her queen.

Akeno looked at her queen with a surprised expression and said, "Oh, AraAraAra~ Does the president have an interest in our handsome Kohai?" as she served Rias some tea. Rias began to blush while taking a sip of her tea and replied, "No, Akeno; I'm just curious about seeing that young boy with the Sitri summoning slip... Is Sona interested in him? I can tell that he has some type of sacred gear, maybe a dragon type," as she thought out loud.

Akeno begins to look out the window, while still holding the kettle in her hand. She smiled when seeing Issei." Hyoudou-San!?" Asked Akeno before walking back into the personal kitchen in the occult research room.

Rias's eyes wandered, wondering where Akeno was going. "You mean Issei Hyoudou? The second year who is supposed to be one of the smartest people in our generation? The super genius?" asked Rias, baffled that this was the same boy.

"That's right! The same boy, but I have no idea what Sitri-san wants Issei-san for. Maybe she does want him to be in her peerage, said Akeno.

Rias just kept drinking her tea and strategizing a plan to make Issei Hyoudou hers.

After school, I received a text from Serafall. At first, I was happy, but when I read the text, my heart sank. She said she didn't want to be with me anymore, explaining that we come from different worlds and have different goals. My mood turned sour, thinking it was an excuse to break up with me... Boy, how wrong I was.

As I was walking home, I eventually met a girl with blue hair who was the same age as me. She had beautiful purple eyes, but what was most noticeable was her bust, which rivaled Akeno Senpai's. Her blue hair reached her back, and she was wearing the same uniform as Yuma-san. "Can I help you with something?" I asked. The brunette just blushed before looking at me and playing with her fingers in embarrassment.

"Are you Issei Hyoudou?" the girl asked with a smile on her face. I narrowed my eyes and backed up. "How do you know my name?" I asked. The girl gave an awkward smile before walking up to me. "Well, you are the smartest person in our generation..."

"I'm not interested. Now, please leave me alone," I said before walking away. Unknowingly to me, the girl was glaring daggers at me. Before I could go home, I felt a sharp pain coming from my arm.

Looking at my arm, I saw it got sliced clean off. Blood begins to gush out. Seeing my severe arm on the ground I begin to scream in pain.

The girl with blue hair giggled and said, "Fufufufufufu~ You scream like a little bitch," before transforming into an older version of herself. My instincts told me to run, so he did, throwing a gadget containing hydrofluoric acid with his remaining arm. The creature's face and the right side of the wing began to melt. She let out a loud screech before falling from the sky.

I quickly ran away and reached for the phone to call the police. It was difficult, but I dialed the police number. To my horror, no one answered. "Damn," I cursed under my breath. However, something inside me told me to call Serafall. What could she do? She was just a human like me, and she had also broken my heart. Even facing death, I couldn't stop thinking about her. Unknowingly, a little bit of blood spilled on the slip that Serafall had given me before it turned blue.

Suddenly, a blue magic circle appeared before me, and from it emerged a confused Serafall. We were both shocked for different reasons. She looked worried and was crying when she saw that my right arm was armless. I was stunned to see her appearing out of a portal. Before we could continue talking, a blue spear of light tried to impale me. Serafall summoned a blue force field to protect me. I saw everything—the tail and the bat-like wings.
