"Rachit!" I heard my brother's annoyed voice making me snapped back to reality.

"I'm sorry were you saying something?."

"I have come to believe there's someone who has caught prince's attention." He finished and moved back on his chair across from me on the dining table.

"And what led you to believe such delusions?" I scoffed and remained calm, but my heartbeat raised slightly. Why?

"You've been absent-minded and oddly distracted." He pointed out.

I snorted amusedly,
"Nonsense."

How could I admit there was in fact something weird happening to me ever since meeting those bluish-green eyes filled with the endless amount of fear, almost as if the hidden secrets of the universe were locked inside of them. I grimaced at the thought it was so unlike me to think about a girl in such a way.

I groaned hearing Vishal say, "You are a little too old to be acting like a teenager, don't you think?."

"There is no one okay? My mind is just occupied with something else. By the way, when is Mom and Dad coming?" I asked changing the topic.

"This evening I think. I'm not sure." He took a bite of his last pork before leaving the dining area.

"See you little one." He yelled.

I pushed the chair behind me and stood up as well. This will be a long day, I thought. With my confused feelings and the home alone, I sure have a 75% chance of getting depression. I groaned loudly when I was about to enter my room and sleep the day off but was stopped by a loud ringing on my phone.

"What now?." I calmed down when I saw my brother's name vividly written on my screen.

"Hello. Look, I forgot my files that I'll be using for today's meeting on the arm of the couch. Do you mind bringing them over to me, please." He asked in a hurry.

"Sure. I'll be there in 5 minutes." I said and hung up the phone.

Siya's P.O.V

I woke up to my alarm going off. I rolled over and grabbed it before I climbed out of bed and headed to the bathroom. After taken a long hot shower, I pulled out a simple cream Anarkali saree. I don't know why but today I start to reminisce on my parents, I miss them so much. I felt tears began to stream down my face and I quickly wiped them away. I have to be strong for my little brother. My parents gave birth to three of us before they passed away in a car accident when I was 17 years old. We were a very happy small family. Me and my younger brother Sunny were left under the custody of my elder brother Prithvi, he was 22 at that moment and was the only family I had left.

Looking in the mirror, I noticed how much I look like my Mother. I have her tan skin and wavy dark brown hair but I have our Father's bluish-green eyes. Sunny and Prithvi have a mixed of our parent's features except for my father's eyes which they don't have but I on the other hand, well I have most of my mother's features.

Brushing my hair and applying a very light make up. I grabbed my phone and checked the time, I have 40 minutes to get to class. I grabbed my backpack off the floor and headed downstairs.

Fortunately I didn't have to deal with dressing Sunny up because he's a little and by a little I mean a very little matured now for a 6 year old boy. He's very cute and I love him.

"I made breakfast. Take a seat." I froze when I heard Prithvi's voice. I walked further into the kitchen and was surprised that he did actually made breakfast and he's sober.

I stare at him with a blank expression. Prithvi is really trying to make this family work like before but with his Drug addiction, It's only destroying the family. He's very good and gentle when he's sober but when he's not, he becomes very aggressive that sometimes he breaks things and yell at us for no reason. Fortunately he has never laid a hand on me or sunny.
