"True love is built on a foundation of trust and shared moments."
A few days after the award ceremony, Jiah returned home from a particularly exhausting day at work. She had been juggling multiple cases, and the strain was beginning to show. As she entered the house, the familiar, comforting scent of home greeted her, instantly soothing her frayed nerves.
"Cheol, I'm home!" she called out, kicking off her heels and setting her bag down.
Seungcheol emerged from the kitchen, a warm smile on his face. "Hey, beautiful. How was your day?"
Jiah sighed, "Long and tiring, but it's good to be home."
Seungcheol walked over and enveloped her in a hug, pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead. "I missed you," he murmured.
Jiah smiled up at him, her eyes twinkling. "I missed you too." She leaned in for a kiss, and as their lips met, all the stress of the day seemed to melt away. They slowly made their way to the couch, still locked in a tender embrace.
After a few moments, Jiah pulled back slightly, catching her breath. "You know, Cheol, these little moments with you mean everything to me."
Seungcheol nodded, brushing a strand of hair away from her face. "I feel the same way. No matter how crazy our lives get, I always look forward to coming home to you."
They sat there in silence for a while, simply enjoying each other's presence. It was these quiet, intimate moments that had strengthened their bond over the past year. Despite their busy schedules, they had made a conscious effort to prioritize their relationship, and it was paying off.
"Let's go out for dinner tonight," Seungcheol suggested suddenly. "I have a surprise for you."
Jiah's eyes lit up with curiosity. "A surprise? What is it?"
"You'll see," he said with a mischievous grin.
Later that evening, after Jiah had changed into a comfortable yet elegant outfit, they headed out. Seungcheol drove them to a cozy, upscale restaurant that Jiah loved. As they walked in, she noticed a reserved table in the corner, adorned with candles and a bouquet of red roses.
