Chapter 1: Flashback to 8 years ago

June 1, 1983
Lily Riddle was at home with her kids Lia, Harry, Ariana, and Jenna. Her best friend Severus Black-Snape was with her while their husbands were out with Tom, Hayley, Cassie, Isobella, Alyssa, Mattheo, Victoria, and Sebastian. Severus and Lily were playing with the kids upstairs in the nursery when they heard a loud bang come from downstairs. And this is where everything is gonna change.

Severus's POV:
"Lily!!!! You have to take the kids and go to the safe house. I will stay behind and fight so you and the kids can escape to safety. GO!!!" I said to my best friend since I was 11 years old.

"No, Severus. I can't leave you here. James hates you and he will kill you if I leave you here." Lily said to me. The banging got louder which means they are searching for Lily downstairs.

"Lily, please, we don't have time to debate this Tom would not forgive me if I let something happen to you and I wouldn't forgive myself either. You are my best friend. You have the kids. You need to go and save yourself and the kids. I will be okay. PLEASE GO!" I was panicking for the safety of my best friend and her kids. There was a noise at the bottom of the stairs.

"Lily, please, Tom can't lose you, everything was dark before you came into his life. He can't lose you, Regulus and I can't lose you, The Death Eaters can't lose you, your kids can't lose you. YOU have made this life better for us. Tom and the Death Eaters have become hopeful and happy again because YOU brought light into their lives. YOU have brought love into their lives. YOU have brought Regulus and me together. YOU SAVED ALL OF US. Please we can't lose you. PLEASE" I worried about her.

"STUPIFY" I heard from behind me. After I heard the word come out it hit me and I went flying across the room and I heard Lily yell my name before everything went black. "SEVERUS, NO" Lily yelled.

Lily's POV:
"SEVERUS, NO" I yelled out. She looked at her best friend as he flew across the room knocked out when he hit the ground. She turned back around and looked at the person who hurt her best friend.

"WHY CAN'T YOU TWO JUST LEAVE ME ALONE? I DON'T WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH YOU JAMES POTTER AND YOU...ALBUS YOU NEED TO STOP COMING AFTER ME AND TOM WE ARE HAPPY AND JUST WANT TO LIVE OUR LIVES WITH OUR KIDS." She yelled at the two intruders in her and her husband's home.

"I told you Lily that James is better for you and it's for the greater good if you're with him and not Tom." Albus said calmly.

"Greater good MY ASS. YOU JUST WANT TO CONTROL ME AND TURN TOM INTO THE BAD GUY WHEN THE TRUE BAD GUY IS YOU. YOU JUST WANT POWER. YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT ANYONE BUT YOURSELF AND POWER." Lily yelled at him. "AND YOU..." Lily turned to James.

"I TOLD YOU I WANTED NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU MULTIPLE TIMES STARTING BACK IN 5TH YEAR WHEN YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS WERE BULLYING SEVERUS, OH WAIT I FORGOT THEY LEFT YOU WHEN THEY SAW HOW MUCH I CARE AND LOVE MY BEST FRIEND. REMUS AND PETER LEFT AFTER YOU CALLED ME A "MUDBLOOD" WHILE I WAS JUST STANDING UP FOR MY BEST FRIEND FROM THE STUPID, ARROGANT, STUCK-UP, SPOILED RICH BOY. AND SIRIUS LEFT YOU AFTER HE SAW ME HELP HIS BROTHER SEE THAT THERE IS STILL HOPE OUT IN THE WORLD AFTER I BROUGHT REGULUS INTO MY FRIEND GROUP WITH SEVERUS AND ME. SIRIUS STARTED TO DESPISE YOU AFTER I SAVE HIS COUSINS BELLATRIX AND NARCISSA FOR LOSING HOPE AND GOING DARK. AND REMUS, PETER, AND SIRIUS COMPLETELY WALKED AWAY AND HATED YOU AFTER SEEING THAT MY LOVE FOR TOM TURNED HIM GOOD AND HOPEFUL AGAIN AFTER HE LOST HOPE AND BECAME DARK AFTER THIS ASSHOLE..." She looked at Albus...

"MADE HIM LOOK LIKE A BAD GUY AND MADE HIM OUT TO BE EVIL WHEN ALL HE NEED WAS TO BE LOVED AND CARED ABOUT. YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT HIS CHILDHOOD WAS LIKE GROWING UP COMPLETELY ALONE BECAUSE OF HIS MOTHER DYING AFTER GIVING BIRTH TO HIM AND HIS FATHER ABANDONING HIM BEFORE HE WAS BORN FOR HIS MOTHER BEING A WITCH. YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT IS LIKE TO GROW UP ALONE BECAUSE YOU HAVE PARENTS WHO CARE ABOUT YOU AND LOVE YOU. WHEREAS TOM DID NOT HAVE THAT. PETUNIA AND I DID NOT HAVE THAT BECAUSE OUR PARENTS THOUGHT WE WERE FREAKS BECAUSE WE WERE WITCHES. SO STAY THE FUCK OUT OF OUR LIVES. I LOVE TOM AND ONLY TOM. AND I WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU JAMES POTTER SO STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME." Lily finished yelling and started to walk away to pick up her kids and started to walk off to her best friend to apparate to the safe house with her kids and best friend and get a message to her husband and other best friend.
