Chapter 6: Families Come Together

Petunia's POV:
I look at my watch and it is 11:30 in the morning everyone has arrived and we are giving Tom time to reconnect with his 3 kids that were finally found after 5 years. As we wait we talk about how our weeks have been. At 11:45 I called out

"Tom, everyone is here." I heard some noise in the dining room. Tom walks into the living room with Hadrian, Ariana, and Jenna behind him. As Tom sits down Mattheo looks up at Hadrian then looks at Ariana and Jenna who are holding onto each of Hadrian's arms for dear life.

Mattheo runs across the room and wraps them into a hug. At first they stand frozen but then they hug him back. As they start to hug back Tom, Hayley, Cassie, Isobella, Alyssa, Victoria, and Sebastian join the hug glad to have Hadrian, Ariana, and Jenna back. As the hug ends and they all sit down I look towards Tom to see him about to cry from watching his kids stand in a group hug.

"What do you guys want to do first?" I ask everyone. "How about we all reconnect with Hadrian, Ariana, and Jenna now that we have them back? Then we will have a family meeting to find out more on how they ended up here after 5 years of being missing and make plans on what we are gonna do to fix it." Tom suggested.

"That works for me." I said. I looked at Hadrian to see if they were comfortable with that and he looked at the girls and they nodded.

"Okay let's start with that. All adults with me in the kitchen for a minute and kids stay here and do whatever until we come back in." I said. Us adults enter the kitchen.

Tom's POV:
As we all entered the kitchen I turned to my sister-in-law. "Petunia, what's wrong? What do you need to tell us?" I asked her in a worried voice.

She looks at me with sadness. "We have to be careful with how we approach this Tom." She says. "What do you mean Petunia? Be careful with what?" I ask. "Tom, did you not see the look in their eyes when you got here and how hesitant they are with everything?" She asks me.

"I mean yeah but isn't that because this is all new to them?" I responded. "No Tom. It is not because they are in a new situation. They have been in a new situation for the past 5 years." She says.

"Then what are you trying to say, Petunia?" I ask. "Tom, they are traumatized. I can tell by the look in their eyes. Lily and I had that look because of our parents, but her and I were good at hiding it. They are only 8 and 6. They have learned how to hide it and even if they knew how to hide it I would still be able to tell because it is the same look I had. And that is not all." She hesitantly said.

"What else is there?" I ask in a panic. "Did you notice their physical features?" She says. "Yeah what about them?" I ask. "They had forced glamours put on them. Think about it Tom. Hadrian looks like who but with Lily's eyes? And Ariana and Jenna look like carbon copies of Lily. Lily and I are identical twins and have never looked that damn near similar. People could still tell us apart. But they look exactly the same as what Lily did when she was 6. And they have no features from you that are not natural. Come on Tom, think about it." She says

"Yeah I noticed that with the girls already Petunia and Hadrian only have Lily's eyes and look nothing like me. I already know I saw it already." I said. "Come on Tom, who does he look like but is not related to?" She asks me. "I don't know Petunia. All I care about is that they are back home where they belong." I said. She turns to Sirius.

"Siri, who does Hadrian look like? Who is one person that everyone in this room hates, especially me?" She asks Sirius. "James Potter. The person who tried to turn Reg and I against each other. And the person who was obsessed with Lily." He responds. She turns back to me.
