Chapter 88: What the Future will Hold/Karaoke Night

It has been at least 3 days since you have gotten the third gemstone. You were now a few steps closer to getting the trust heart. From this point, you were happy about this, but you also had questioned what the future is going to hold for you and everyone else. Will it be bad or will it be good? Only time was going to tell.

But today, you were doing something that the girls will not know about.

You were now back in your room. You were staring at what seemed to be a little black box that contained some type of jewelry.

(Y/N): (thinking)(sighs mentally) I hope I can give these to my girls someday. I can imagine their reactions on what they would say when they all see this.

You smiled at the thought about it.

(Y/N): (thinking) Maybe some day...

Hiccup: Hey, what do you have there?

You lost your train of thought and squealed a bit. You turn to see Hiccup at your door. You let out a sigh in relief.

(Y/N): Oh. It's just you, Hiccup. I thought you were one of the girls for a second.

He then walks in.

Hiccup: That's ok, bud. So what's in your hand?

(Y/N): I'll tell you, but you need to lock the door. I don't want anyone else to find out what this is.

Hiccup then closes your door and then locks it. He then walks over to you and you show him the little black box. You then open it to reveal several rings.

Hiccup: Wait, are those...

(Y/N): Yeah. I want to ask the girls to marry me.

Hiccup was surprised by this.

Hiccup: Were you planning this?

(Y/N): Well, I'm not any time soon. With everything that's been going on, it's going to be hard to tell them. But I'm hoping to tell them when we all graduate. It's a plan that I have in mind.

Hiccup: Well, I guess this proves just how much they're worth to you, huh?

(Y/N): Yeah. After what happened with Vognos, I realized that these girls are the whole reason that I'm still alive. I mean, a lot of them saved me from my last life being taken away from death. They've been there helping me with the Adenus situation, and they continue to care for me. Just like I care about them.

Hiccup: But, it was worth it. Or at least, it will be.

You sighed before sitting on your bed as Hiccup noticed the look you had on.

Hiccup: Is everything alright?

(Y/N): There's just one thing that clouds my mind. Everything that I've worked hard for and everything I fought for, it was all because of them. But the one thought just doesn't want to leave. And it's just...

You were uneasy about saying this.

Hiccup: Bud, just say it.

You look at Hiccup.

(Y/N): Hiccup... what if they say no? What if they say no and I end up alone again?

This surprised Hiccup.

Hiccup: Jeez, bud.

He looks away and then gives you a serious look.

Hiccup: No. That won't happen.
