When she was just a baby, Amaya was found by Carmen at the edge of Shells Town, wrapped in blankets with a note in her tiny hands. Baby Amaya, our ship is not safe for you, we hope someone here will take care of you. And that's exactly what Carmen did. As she grew up, Amaya saw Carmen as her mother despite their lack of blood relation, and she initially had no interest in finding her parents.
However, as she grew, she started feeling a sense of longing. Longing to know the truth. But she couldn't leave Shells Town, she was too comfortable there. That was until she was forced out.
