I RETURN to Ireland from holiday with a horrific headache. Unfortunately, my biggest problem was the overwhelming sense of doom thinking about how I have to go for dinner with Jack and my agent, Anna.

It feels so good to be back home. Actors work a lot and unfortunately it's very unpredictable with where we actually get to work. I never liked where I lived growing up, I thought it was really boring. Years later, I'm so grateful that I have somewhere I can come back to where I can get a proper break and people will treat me normally.

Callum collects me from the airport. We don't speak as he can tell my the look on my face (and the sunglasses) that I'm not feeling my best. I'm a talkative person, but when I'm hungover it's a different story.

Once I get home, I quickly freshen up and retouch my makeup. Pretending I was happy about this show getting picked up was killing me and Callum was none the wiser. It would make sense for me to be happy as the show was a massive hit and regardless of what went on off set, I adored my character, Marianne. That being said, I think that this is definitely something better left untouched. Leave the people wanting more, as they say.

"Do you want me to drive you?." Callum asks, sprawled across the couch with an old film playing.

"No no no I'm okay thanks," I reply, checking I have everything I need in my bag. "I won't be drinking."

"Enjoy yourself!." He calls as I leave.

Bloody good chance of that happening

"SO basically, we won't need you guys until around mid August...so a month from now." Anna says, observing that she needs to wrap it up based on the absent expressions on both mine and Jack's faces.

We've been here for over an hour and haven't spoken directly to each other, only to Anna. I've barely been listening as I'm in denial this whole thing is even happening.

I actually cannot stand this man. I genuinely need something insane to happen so I don't have to film this show. I hope they cancel it once they see us together on the first day. I cant even look him in the eye let alone kiss him or even more.

Anna can feel the tension as she ends our meeting. "You two know the drill, you'll get your schedule and scripts the week before."

I clear my throat. "Is that us then?."

Anna nods, and I can see by her face that she's happy to have this over too. "Yes. I will see you both in August."

"See you," I sigh, swiftly rising from the table. I'm eager to get home as this meeting has been far from pleasant. At least he didn't talk to you I think.

"One more thing...." Anna clears her throat. "As you know, Simon, the creator of your show definitely made you feed into the romance rumors last time. They expect the same this season-."

"No I don't think that-." I but in.

"Maisie I'm really sorry I'm just passing along the message. This is what's expected of you guys as part of this job as it was last time. You did it before so I'm sure it will be alright. Just some light flirting...try and look like you actually like each other." She attempts a smile and avoids meeting my eyes because she knows I want to kill her.
