The detectives began to investigate the evidence. The thing that caught their attention first was the bag of blood. The blood was inside a plastic bag with "Vlad Blood" written on the bag sloppily with a pink marker. They noticed that the amount of blood in the bag was way more than what was needed for a sample.
It filled up half of the gallon bag. This seemed like something odd to give to the police and seemed like it may have been a way to cover up something. Either way they sill used a droplet of the blood for a DNA sample and kept the rest in the fridge so they can use it if it is needed for the case again.
They then looked into the person who gave this to them, Zena Williams. She was seen as the ex of Vlad as shown from the motives paper. She had an extensive criminal record including a "self-defense charge". The person that she killed in self defense was her father, who was supposedly abusive. She apparently killed him with a serrated-edge cooking knife by jabbing him in the heart.
Using this information she was decided, Suspect.
