MUZAN EYED THEM SUSPICIOUSLY, his red eyes boring into his daughter's as the two stood at a standstill. As though he knew she had been seducing or at least gaining the trust of his uppermoons, he merely let out a tsk.

"Kokushibo," his voice bellowed, echoing throughout the walls of the castle, "Get out of my sight."

The Uppermoon's jaw tightened, invisible to his master as he uttered, "Yes, Master Muzan."

With no other choice in the matter, Uppermoon One left the scene, leaving Princess Asuna, her father, and Nakime.

"Are you still upset?" the white-haired demoness probed lightly, "I spent my time where you asked me to."

Her father stayed silent, as though he were in deep thought. That was a good sign, perhaps he had other things on his mind that did not involve surveilling his daughter.

She watched as he folded and unfolded his arms, indicating that he seemed to have come up with an end to his whirling mind.

"Asuna," he said slowly, "If you wish to stay here, I will give you one last chance."

Ah, the princess perked her head up at that. He had been rather lenient with her actions, too lenient. This must've been why.

"Oh dear," she hummed, putting a hand to her face, "You wound me, father. Whatever could I do to make it up to you?~"

She watched as her father's red eyes glowed with a greater ferocity. A small smile crept onto his face, tugging at the corners of his lips.

"What could you do?" he repeated slowly, seemingly growing more excitedly, "You are exceptionally skilled at gathering intel. Even if you haven't found the blue spider lily yet."

Asuna's eyes narrowed, a smile still present on her face, "You flatter me."

"And so," the progenitor continued, "I believe it would be in our best interest that you conduct your search for Ubuyashiki and his family's whereabouts."

The tone of his voice left no room for discussion. As lenient as he is about her rebellious attitude, Asuna knew when to stop. This was one of those moments.

"As you wish," she replied monotonously, "Will you allow me the freedom to do so?"

"Of course," he answered swiftly, raising his hand up towards Nakime, "You may be released."

On his command, the demon's fingers began to pluck the strings of her biwa, allowing for the princess to be teleported to the location of her desires.

"I expect greater things from my bloodline," Muzan declared sternly, his eyes glowing crimson, "For it would be a shame to end its remnants now."

The demon princess merely glared at him as she allowed her body to fall through the many levels of the infinity castle.

"Yes," she hummed bitterly, "It would be a shame."
