"Cause I know that it's delicate"

It has been a month and a day since I started dating Mason, and everything has changed. I was proven wrong, I unfortunately have fallen for him. Damnit. I was just trying to show Blake I could date someone. I end up getting my heart broken and then my heart falls for someone completely different in forty eight hours. I am stressed for what may happen.

My bags were packed in the back of the car. Ava's parents and us girls were taking a separate car from the one we mason and them were taking. All my stuff was in there along with everyone else's.

Mason and his parents are getting things situated for the drive as the boys sit and wait. Us girls are grabbing our purses as we walk by the conversation. They say goodbyes to him and we follow behind them. Ava says bye to him and Angie just waves. "Brina" I hear him say as I walk away. I try to ignore him a bit but he continues to say my name till I turn around.

"Yes doofus" I say with an attitude, trying to make things like normal for us. For some reason I got nervous when I finally made eye contact with him.

"Oookay, someone's a ball of sunshine this morning. Well I was just gonna say I had a fun time last night and thanks for pushing through and going on those rides with me. It meant a lot" he said to me.

"Well it wasn't anything, I thought they were fun. I had fun too and thanks for going with me" I say back to him.

"So you would go on bigger rides with me" he says as his hands lay in is pockets and he leans more to me. I get more nervous and jerk back.

"Noooo" I tell him.

"Boringggg. You know if you went in those rides, will you finally swim" he asks me.

"In your dreams Thames" I say as I begin walking away from him.

"Well you're the main thing in them."

"What" I say nervously.

"You're like the only main event in my life at this point, duh. You dream about what is going on in your life. And Sabrina your life is pretty much mine now."

"Bye Mason" I say to him as I turn back to walk to the car. "Go drive or whatever."

So great for trying to avoid him, he comes up to me. It was going to be hard avoiding him, seeing I'm fake dating him and staying at a beach house with him all week. Well things won't be all like a couple at the house, so maybe I don't have to talk to him as often after this. Although I really want to just talk to him and kiss him and be with him, I can't. I just can't. It's wrong.

I get into the car to see Ava and Angie moving the radio around, annoying the parents. When they finally set up Bluetooth, they began arguing over what to listen to. "God you guys take so long to decide" I say as I snatch the phone. I looked up my summer playlist and made us listen to that. "Thank you" Ava's mom whispers to me.

After a long drive, we get to a beach house. The house was huge, with multiple rooms and bathrooms. The living room had a huge tv. The dining room and kitchen were connected in a huge room. It was soooo cool. The backyard was huge with an attached pool, trail to the actual beach, and even a bridge that led to a porch on the beach. It was super nice.

Ava, Angie, and I went to claim the room we would be staying in. There was a ton of rooms, but we still decided to bunk together for each night.

We set up different beds in the room and set all of our stuff together. We unpacked and heard the guys messing around in their rooms.

After we finish that up, we go out for dinner. We go to an Olive Garden and all sit down together. I'm sat next to in between Ava and Angie. Nate is sat next to Ava at the end. Angie is at the end, facing Jake. Ava faces her mom as Nate faces her dad. I'm sat sitting across from Mason. Great.

When the bread sticks arrive, everyone grabs for them. I wait a minute to grab one and see that there is only one left I look around and see that everyone except Mason and I have one. I look at him surprised and nervously. He gives me a competitive smile trying to get the last one. We both grab for it and slap the other's hand out. He kicks my leg, and I kick back.

"Let's just share it" I tell him as I shrug.

"Okay then, I thought you were going to make it a competition or something" he said as he raised his eyebrows and smiled.

"Well you weee the one to do that anyway."

"I merely just started what I assumed would happen."

"Whatever" I say as I reach for the breadstick. As I reach, so does he. Our hands briefly touch as I move mine back and he grabs it.

"Wow Brina, I don't have a disease" he chuckles. I chuckle nervously as he breaks it off. He hands my half to me as he makes eye contact with me.

"Wow, these assholes couldn't even let us have a full one. You know I saw Jake take two" he laughs.

"Yeah" I laugh nervously as I agree.

"Are you good" he asks me as I smile awkwardly.

"Yeah totally I'm fine" I say.

"Okay" he said in a weirded out voice.

The rest of dinner was pretty normal, all conversation with big groups and such. It was a ton of fun.

We got home and us girls tried to watch a movie before bed but instead just fell asleep. It was pretty late in the night and a long day.
